Summary

A heart-warming and touching romance from James Patterson. When her beloved grandmother is hospitalised, Jennifer returns to the lakeside home where she spent a magical childhood. There she finds a package of letters addressed to her that tell of passion, intrigue, and desire. This is the real tale of her grandmother's life. It's a shocking family secret, concealed for decades, and the most moving love story Jennifer has ever heard.

Wouldn't bother unless its on sale

If this book wasn’t for you, who do you think might enjoy it more?

Not sure who would like this, actually! Perhaps the older , female market

What will your next listen be?

I have a broad range of tastes, going from fact based historical literature, horror genres and vampires to my newest category fantasy fiction . So my next read I am going to try out the series Game of Thrones! Might take me 8 credits to get through it so I am in it for the long run.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Boredom. Sorry

Any additional comments?

It was a fair 'filler inner' between credits but it was a bit boring, all about love and loss. Not terrible but just a bit too slow and gentle with nothing much being said.
