But in sweeps handsome Navy SEAL Chasen Ward to rescue her. After getting her to safety, he disappears into the night before she can even thank him. Weeks later, while covering a story on the local navy base, Hayley runs into Chasen again. Even though she didn't see his face that night he rescued her, she can't forget his beautiful blue eyes. The attraction is immediate and intense, and Hayley finds herself falling into a fiery romance with the hunky hero out of her dreams. Guys like this aren't supposed to really exist, but Chasen does, and damn is he hot. But ever since she got back home, Hayley has had the feeling someone's been watching her. Is it post-traumatic stress or does she have a reason to be afraid? Good thing she has a Navy SEAL to protect her.

    Story
"Can love work when they both have dangerous jobs"

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the audio version. A nice change where the female, Hayley, also travels to dangerous locations, gets called at a moment's notice and never knows how long she'll be gone. She meets her SEAL when he rescues the reporter from terrorists. They are separated while he goes back into danger for more captives. Back at home, a chance meeting gives them the opportunity to get to know each other.

Both are professionals and have been in their jobs for a time. The attraction is immediate and it doesn't take long for Chasen to make his move which she readily moves right into. Their first date is a girl's fantasy come true. The second is a BBQ with the team and their ladies and family. Will she fit in with his team that has become his family?

Hayley refuses to admit she is having symptoms of PTSD. She feels like someone is watching her, but knows it isn't true. She's restricted stateside by her boss after her close call. Hayley is not one to sit back and watch. She gets involved in a dangerous investigation. Will Chasen be called to rescue her again? If so, can he do it twice?

The characters are ones you want to succeed professionally and personally. There is plenty of steam. The teammates are introduced. I for one am glad this is just book one of the series. Those guys are hot. Ms. Tyler gives us action, emotion, steam, and a couple worthy of the great story line.

    "Protection of a Seal"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes I would as I really liked the story line

What did you like best about this story?

How they had an instant connection even though they only met for a few mins. Then fate stepped in and allowed them to met again

Have you listened to any of Rhiannon Angell’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

First book I've heard this narrator do but I think she did a really good job of bring the story to life

    Any additional comments?

Well worth a credit. I've read other books by Paige Tyler but none of them on audio. I'm hoping she puts the next one in this series on audio

    "Not crazy about Narrator"

I was not crazy about the narrators voice, it didn't go with the story. The voice was to soft.

    "Exciting story!"

This one is filled with action and love. It was close to my heart as my cousin was a Navy SEAL. I can't say what mission he was on, but it involved a copter crashing at the compound when it was hit with fire. Mission successful and they all made it home.
