Summary

Eve Collins starts her freshman year at college blissfully unaware that one revelation will challenge everything she's believed to be true about her family, life, and future, and right in the midst of it all is Asher St. Michael. Mysterious and aloof, Asher is appointed to protect Eve at all costs. Bound by his oath of loyalty to mankind, loving her is forbidden.

Dark and enigmatic, Gage Gallagher may be even more dangerous to Eve than the demonic army that hunts her. Caught in the middle of a centuries-old war, Eve must choose sides knowing that the wrong choice will cost more than just her life. Can Asher and Eve fulfill their destinies, or will their love destroy everything?

A let down

This could have been so good but it was written badly. I made it to the end but I just didnt care about the characters. No character development and the story line was rushed.

Terrible narration.

I'm not sure about the actual storyline of this book as I had to give up after a few chapters. The narration of this book is just too horrible to listen to any more. The narrators voice is really nasal and annoying and her accents are just dreadful. The worst is probably Ash, she just can't seem to decide where he's from. One minutes he sounds Bostonian, then a weird mix between Irish and Welsh, then slips into one of the worst English accents I've heard in a while. I will probably try the Kindle version, although I have to say that what I've heard of the book so far doesn't sound to promising either.

OK book but not so good narrator

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Not really that happy with this book or narrator. It dragged on.

What did you like best about this story?

some parts were interesting, I kept going cause sometimes it take a bit to get into the book.

Would you be willing to try another one of Jorjeana Marie’s performances?

NO she sounded like she had a cold the whole series. No difference between the characters.

Did Revelation inspire you to do anything?

no

Any additional comments?

no

Teenage Angst

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I'm not sure who this book is for. The content is obviously geared towards teenagers and Young Adults... not preteens. However, the writing style, wording and plot development was very practicable and almost spoon feed to you; like something you would expect for a Juvenile reader.

What was most disappointing about Randi Cooley Wilson’s story?

The I love you but I can't have you.... but I love you plot line. Was hard to follow and very annoying.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Annoyance at the writer and annoyance that I bought this book.

Waste of money and time.

Horrible vocabulary. Cheesy lines. Nothing happened throughout the entire book. Whoever narrated this sounds like she had her nose plugged the whole time.

Great story, annoying narration

Loving this story and can't wait for the next book. However, I'm not a fan of the narration. Seems as if the narrator is talking through her nose too often and she's trying far to hard to BE the different characters. Overall I do recommend this book.

Gargoyle protectors

I found this book to be very enjoyable. The narrator did a good job. Note: this is just the beginning of the story. You have to move on to book 2 to get to a resolution of the story. And there might be more books after book 2...not sure.

love these books!!

I just started book 3 Nox in the follow up series to the Revelation series written by Randi Cooley Wilson.... I'm reminded how much I loved it, so planning to listen again for the 3rd or 4th time....these books are detailed and steamy with specific adult content!! I've told several people about these books and author... I'll probably listen to all of them again before the follow-up to her other book/series Stolas!!

Please get a new narrator!

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I would recommend the book...possibly not the audio book.I enjoyed the story, it was a little simplistically written and some words were incredibly repetitive, but the story itself I enjoyed. The narrator was terrible! She does an American accent as the main character, but it sounds like English isn't her first language much less an American accent. Additionally she mixes up the other characters accents constantly. Sometimes in the middle of the sentences. One will go from talking with a Scottish accent to an American.. it's incredibly distracting.

What other book might you compare Revelation to and why?

It's on the same playing field as the Twilight series.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Jorjeana Marie?

Literally anyone else.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Yes.
