Anything can be fixed with a little Duct Tape and sass... At least that's what celebrity fixer, Delilah Donovan, used to think. She prides herself on being able to handle anything. But when she's asked to fix the new CEO of Synth Games, she never dreams she'll come face to face with the only man to ever break her heart. The past can't always be fixed... When a friend calls in a long ago favor, reformed hacker, Nate Williams, worries that his shady past will come back to haunt him.
Sebastian Bennett is a determined man. It's the secret behind the business empire he built from scratch. Under his rule, Bennett Enterprises dominates the jewelry industry. Despite being ruthless in his work, family comes first for Sebastian, and he'd do anything for his parents and eight siblings - even if they drive him crazy sometimes...like when they keep nagging him to get married already.
Don't call it a comeback....Because no one else is. Poised to live up to his legacy, tennis player Bryce Coulter loses it all on one swing. Now, with the pressure on and his future in jeopardy, the last thing he needs is a smart-mouthed training partner with attitude and a killer swing - or maybe she's exactly what he needs. Rich, spoiled, and moneyed - seen that, been dragged through the dirt behind that. Tami Ivey, gets enough of the bad boy trust fund kids at work. She doesn't need it in her sanctuary too.
Walker Williams is my f--k buddy. It's the perfect arrangement. I get his carefree smile. I get his inked arms. I get his massive ahem. I hold onto my secrets. No getting lost in his dark eyes. No melting into his soft embrace. No falling head over heels. We're playing. That's it. I need to think about his lips on my neck, his hands on my skin, his hard body against mine. If he unlocks my heart, if he finds out the truth.... There's no way he's staying.
Still a virgin at 21, Meg Smart walks a straight and narrow path. She aces her classes, excels at her part-time job, and carefully avoids trouble - no drinks, no drugs, and especially no boyfriends. Rock star Miles Webb doesn't do "boyfriend". He skips over intimacy and love in favor of easy distraction - a beautiful woman under him, screaming his name. Meg is drawn to the pain in Miles' gorgeous, tortured voice. But the man she hears on the radio is nothing like the player she meets at a mutual friend's house party.
Violet Valentine has had enough of tattooed bad boys for one lifetime. Sure, nice guys don't set her on fire the way her ex Ethan did. They don't have his piercing blue eyes, or his bright smile, or his skilled hands. They don't serenade her with her favorite songs. Or make her laugh until her sides ache. Or make her feel so good she could die. None of that matters. Ethan isn't breaking her heart again. No one is.

I'm getting really good at cutting my losses. First, the husband. Divorcing him was the best decision I ever made. But between single-parenting and job-hunting, I can't catch my breath. When a celebrity blogging position falls into my lap, I'm determined to succeed. That is, until I get my first assignment and actually see Noah Frazier for the first time...practically naked and dripping wet. My heart races and I forget how to form complete sentences. His chiseled abs, irresistible smirk, and crystal blue eyes are too perfect to be real. So, what do I do? Get drunk and humiliate myself, of course.
Meet Lauren Halsted. It's all the little things - the action plans, the long-kept promises - that started falling apart when my life slipped into controlled chaos. After I fell ass over elbow into Matthew Walsh's arms, I couldn't decide whether I wanted to run screaming or rip his pants off, and most days I wanted a little of both. If I was being honest with myself, it was rip his pants off, ride him like a workhorse, and then run screaming.
As one of Hollywood's A-listers, I have the movie industry in the palm of my hand. But if I'm going to stay at the top, my playboy image needs an overhaul. No more tabloid headlines. No more parties. And absolutely no more one-night stands. Filming for my latest blockbuster takes place on the coast of Maine, and I'm determined to stay out of trouble. But trouble finds me when I run into Lana Kelly.
I do what I want and who I want. I don't follow anyone's rules-even my own. I knew I shouldn't touch her, but it didn't stop me. Didn't stop me the second time either. Only made me want a third. My lifestyle suits the savage I am, and she doesn't. But Temperance Ransom is my newest addiction, and I'm nowhere near ready to quit her yet. I'll have her my way, even if it means dragging her into the darkness. Hopefully it doesn't kill us both.
He loves me, and he doesn't even know my real name. The limelight that follows him could expose everything I'm hiding. But even knowing the risks, I can't force myself to stay away. I'm going to break his heart, but mine will shatter right along with it. Will we lose it all when I reveal what's beneath this mask?
In Atlanta, Georgia, the Cocker Brothers have certainly earned their nickname - The Cocky Brothers. Their daddy taught them to be real men. They have one thing in common: arrogance. Jake Cocker's younger brother Jeremy has just enlisted in the Marines, leaving him without a roommate. Jake wasn't aiming to live with a woman, but when a curvy, newly single, smart-ass who's at the end of her rope answers his ad, he changes his mind right quick, but mostly out of pity. Is Drew Charles different enough to tame a wild heart like Jake's?
Up-and-coming racecar driver Kisima Jennings is all alone in the world, and that's just how she likes it. After all, she has her career - who needs family? But when a near-fatal crash jeopardizes her future, she's forced to lean on someone for the first time in her life.

After reading a couple of nanas books...im growing bored with the same jargon..."smelling of sandalwood and spice" "hot core" "bit back a curse" etc...There are other words that can be used...
I curse too not a prude by any means but there was un necessary cursing throughout this whole book that just made me say really was that needed?? even during the love scenes it was a real put off the author really needs to chose when and where choice words are needed it killed a lot of scenes for me other than that the story was good I wish they had a make narrative for his parts and the narrator was a little 1 dimensional
What did you love best about Race for Love?
It's really refreshing to read a interracial love story without all the family and/or friends racial negativity. I truly enjoyed this book and will defiantly be purchasing more books by author.
