Summary

Here in this short story, we have a protagonist, trying beyond hope to keep it together, while recounting the terrifying events that have led him to this undisclosed location. Left to his own devices, trapped in a steel and glass box, and writing what may well be his final words, you are dragged into the darkness of his mind.

The rising insanity, as the narrative shifts haphazardly between stifling claustrophobia and full-blown chaos, will take you on an unnerving journey where you will not only question his own hope for survival, but for the very survival of humanity itself.

Quick read.

This is an extremely short story so I'm not going to summarise it. All I'll say is it's an enjoyable bite sized read that's well written and entertaining. I'd be interested to read more!

The narration was fine. Terry F. Self was clear and easy to follow and read it well.

Quad

The audiobook is a very short story about apocalypse. I listened to this book in one sitting due to the short duration. It's entertaining for a short audiobook.

Intriguing.

A wonderfully narrated, very short, short story filled with mystery and tension. It left me wanting much more.

Horror for the faithful.

This book is up there with the classics he has done it again brilliant enthralling dark and down right delicious. if horror floats your boat then Toneye is for you my only negative point would be its to short.

When you're not alone but you really are.

This is another version of an apocalypse where there are people everywhere, but you don't know whom to trust. It's all narrative which is appropriate considering we're inside this survivor's head. I think the author did an excellent job of portraying the thoughts of a man trapped without an idea of where to go. As always, Terry F. Self does an outstanding job of characterizing the protagonist.
