Publisher's Summary

Willa Knight: Dweller? Bad-ass? Notorious pet to five magical beings? In Blesswood, there are rules, and someone is trying to teach her how to follow them. The only problem is Willa. Which shouldn’t be anything new, since she has been a problem since birth — something her pseudo-sister Emmy would agree on. So it definitely shouldn’t be new, but it is. Because things are starting to happen that have never happened before. Things are starting to get chaotic.

    "Where's the next installement already???"

I loved this book, where's the next one?!?!?!?

Willa's relationship with the boys is endearing despite being completely atypical of a normal relationship. Willa Toy / Dweller baby is an oddity to all but a very likable honest character who takes quirky and weird to a whole new level.

I have a feeling we are still yet to fully realise what she actually is. And I would imagine when we do it will be a bit of a shock to all and she will gain some much deserved respect.

I feel each brother should have his own book I want to know more about each one.....I'm sad the next instalment isn't recoded as yet.

I'd also love to see a book on the "Jeffrey's" just because I find them really rather odd. Its like a Harry Potter "Dobby" character to the gods. I want them to rebel also as the structure of the dwellers / Sols / Gods is odd.

Basically I want more....as I found them light hearted and enjoyable to listen to whilst decorating my house. Very easy to dip in and out of but just as easy to get hooked on as Willa is such a funny feisty character.

    "Another great story/audio"

read this book already and got excited when I learned it was available on audiobook, but some of my favourite books have been read by narrators that I just could not listen to so there was also some aprehension as well

My concerns were null and void, the narrator is AWESOME! She really brought this amazing story to life, her voice IS Willa! The quality is clear as a bell with no weird background noises and her voices for the other characters are excellent and slip in seamlessly

I highly recommend this book and the audio, it's lovely to listen to, relaxing, soothing, exciting and draws you deep I to the story, I very highly recommend

"Awesome series - can't wait for the next book "

Persuasion is the second book in the Curse of the Gods series and it's just as good and funny as the first. Vanessa Moyen does a great job with the narration and perfectly brings chaotic Willa's character to life, with the Abcurse brothers close behind. She differentiates between the voices well so you can tell who's speaking and made it a joy to listen to. Will definitely listen to this again. 5 stars!

The narrator is amazing the way she reads the story to you. I catch myself laughing out loud. I put my ear buds in and close my eyes and I'm in a whole other world. I just can't get enough.

    "Hysterical & intriguing adventure"

This heroine is clumsy, silly, yet endearing. You never know what will befall her next. You can’t help but want to know how her relationship to the five gods she is tied to is going to evolve. Steamy at time, but definitely a fun read that will keep you smiling. - AUDIBLE 20 REVIEW SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY

    "Seriously though"

Honestly, these books are the funniest I have ever read. They're like a great sitcom, don't go into them expecting a high fantasy, and be pleasantly surprised by the ridiculousness of the Author's humor. A++

    "More Madness and Mayhem"

Willa's clumsiness, the machinations of the Gods, the secretive Abcurse brothers, the jealous Sols, and the trod-upon Dwellers; all draw her in to one situation after another, then spit her out stumbling, but surviving. I'm very much invested in the storyline and characters, that I'm looking forward to the November 30 release of book #3. Come on in and enjoy the adventure of daily life with Willa. Moyen does a creditable job as Narrator. Books #1-2 are both a definite recommend.

    Story
    "Light hearted and Playful"

Persuasion reads like an Adam Sandler movie of Fantasy novels. Take that how you'd like. Its funny and playful.

But... yes there is a but... there is a point where Willa's character goes from being cute to an annoying dimwitted dumdum who is as sharp as a balling ball. And for those who don't know - Bowling balls aren't sharp at all. I mean I understand she isn't Einstein but dang... can she have at least one meaningful thought. She is our lead character but she didn't grow/develop at all in this book.

And if there is going to be an all out brother orgy then let's get to it already. The dragging out of the sexual tension gets annoying. Every five minutes of the book we are almost about to get ready to do it but not really. That was hard to read, right. My point exactly. The story of the Gods really intrigues me but we can't get into the deep stuff because our lead character is so shallow.

What I hope for book 3 is some character development for Willa and the brothers. Then let's delve into the world of the Gods and get more insight on what's really happening.
