"Mi se întâmplă rar. Din ce în ce mai rar. De regulă, ceea ce văd, ceea ce aud, ceea ce trăiesc mă indispune până la depresie. Şi totuşi, fără motiv aparent, fără iluzii şi fără speranţe utopice, mă trezesc, uneori, cuprins de o nerezonabilă încredere în soarta lumii.

S-ar spune, pe scurt, că lumea stă într-o tolerabilă cumpănă. Relele ei nu prevalează semnificativ asupra părţilor ei bune. Putem încă să ne aşezăm într-un unghi convenabil faţă de hărţuiala zilnică, să o interpretăm pedagogic şi, la limită, să ne salvăm, luând, faţă de tot şi de toate, o relativizantă distanţă. Cât va mai dura însă această cumpănă? Şi ce e de făcut pentru a întreţine statica ei precară?"

RO: Încă o carte audio senzațională marca Andrei Pleșu. Mi-au plăcut în mod deosebit capitolul “O aventură în Indonezia” dar și remarcile sale la adresa lui Vadim Tudor sau juriului MasterChef România.
