Summary
Book 8 in the New Species series.
Dr. Allison Baker is obsessed with saving the comatose New Species male. She has tried everything and there’s only one option left. Alli will break every rule and put her life in danger by tempting 880 to wake, using only her feminine scent and touch. She just has to kidnap him and crawl into bed with him to make it work.
880 wakes in a different world with a small female who’s been sleeping beside him, caressing him, and wrapping her sweet body around his, teasing his senses. He lies silent and still, listening and evaluating each arousing touch, fighting his body’s reaction. Hatred flares when he discovers she’s human, but Mercile stole everything from him so he decides it’s fair to take her in return.

New species 1-9
I love this Author ( Laurann Dohner The narrator Vanessa Chambers is very good and brought the characters alive. I love this set and I agree their best read in order. The only book I did not read was wrath but to be fair it was the synopsis that put me off so I did not download this book, I loved Justice ,Tiger and Shadow the most. I like that the women are
as equally feisty & know what they want in and out of the bed great escapism.

Great story
I enjoyed this story, it was a nice change from the characters being kidnapped and abused, and I’m really looking forward to reading the next book in the series

Good book
I love the series and enjoyed listening to this book, but Alli annoyed me a bit though; one minute she wants him and will do anything to save him then the next minute she wants nothing to do with him / doesn't believe that he wants her, doesn't believe he knows what he wants, thus putting them both through some unnecessary heartache. Great narration again of the characters. This story doesn't have as much action as the others that came before it but it was still a good listen.

Could have been better.
This was good, but not the best. There was barely any action, no mercile, or protesters were in it, and it was slow. I would have liked to see alli working at the prison and interacting with the
mercile prisoners. Would have been better had something happened there to liven up the story.

Not my favourite.
This story was not as great as other in my opinion . This spices character came out of nowhere and I would prefer story on characters which was mentioned before in other books . Like for example Vengeance who suffer so much and would be great if he could find a women to balance him . The story and the female character was lacking something .. in my opinion .
