Summary

When I found an eviction notice taped on my apartment door, I had two options: find a comfortable cardboard box to call home, or move in with Tucker Jameson.

Seeing that cardboard makes me feel itchy, I chose the latter. Which shouldn't be that big of a deal since Tucker is one of my good friends. And because he's still pining after his ex-girlfriend and I'm trying to finish my nursing degree, there is nothing to worry about in the romance department, making my last semester an easy one to conquer.

Boy, was I wrong.

Rules are set, dinners are made, conversations are had, and a shirtless, swoony roommate walks around in nothing but a pair of black briefs, ruining me for every other man.

Before I know it, I turn into a panting, lust-filled woman begging for Tucker to kiss me, touch me, and show me exactly what is hiding under those briefs. But with great orgasms, comes great consequences.

Tucker might be my friend and roommate, but he's also my best friend's ex-boyfriend, making him completely off-limits. At least that's what my brain is telling me; my heart is speaking an entirely different language.

Contains mature themes.

Good book

Two friends reconnect but this time they see each other with different eyes. Heartache and loss have to be overcome before they can truly learn to forgive and move forward, but love conquers all.

I really enjoyed this

While I liked the story I did find the voices a little cringy there were a few places that didn’t flow for me but I did like the story overall and the characters so glad they got their HEA

Better Book than the 1st one

The story was leaps and bounds better than the first book. I thought the stakes and chemistry between Emma and Tucker and Emma was way better

brilliant book and narration

this is a story about a young man's journey to find the strength to overcome a very difficult childhood and the loss of of everything he held dear to him. finding love again with and old friend and both accepting they are deserving of love. Emma gives him the confidence to move forward with his life and Emma can't help but fall for his charm, caring nature and the love he finds difficult to put into words. it's a brilliant but emotional listen and I loved every minute. the banter between the boys is great, Meghan Quinn has a style of writing that just makes the characters relatable and real, her books find the perfect balance of telling a story while keeping grounded, it's the only way I can think to describe it, it's also 5:30am as I couldn't put the book down!
the narrator's are both new to me and they both did a great job, but by god Rudy Sanda really brings Tuckers character to life, you can feel every emotion, feeling and expression he puts in to performing Tuckers character.

Refreshing

It’s so refreshing to read/listen to a book where the characters are just normal people - not millionaires 🤣

Terrible vocals spoil the story

The story wasn’t too bad but the male voice was terrible most of the time and the female voice also changed from normal to screechy but not as often as the male voice. The voices kept changing from normal to very high pitched making you wonder if another party had come into the story. I don’t know why this was recorded with the terrible voices most of the time, sometimes the voices were ok why didn’t they use the normal voices all the time. The bad vocals made it very hard to imagine the story as the vocals didn’t make you see a wonderful hunky man, and a beautiful woman with these terrible voices. Please re-record with normal voices.

Could not finished

Book started ok. Predictable but sweet. But between the dialogue mixed with the whiny narration it may it unbearable. I hate not finishing books but kept on having to look how much time there was left and could not go on. Sorry
