Summary
Since retiring from his job as an officer with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Mike Hunter has been living off-grid in a cabin nestled in the mountains of New Brunswick, but his solitary existence is interrupted when he pulls a beautiful young woman from her vehicle after a crash she is lucky to have survived. Mike's conscience overrides his desire for privacy, and he brings the injured woman back to his cabin to care for her.
Avery Trent is desperate to get away from the ruthless men seeking to collect on her murdered husband's gambling debt, and the last thing she wants is to stay put in some mountain man's cabin until he decides it's safe for her to leave. So not what I expected
I am new to this writer. Took a chance on this story glad I did.
The narrators did an excellent job in duel narration. Hope there's more from mountain man daddy in the future.

Definitely enjoyable
Really good writing, mediocre voice acting. Still very enjoyable.
There were some cheesy "accents" but the description of bdsm and the psychology behind wanting to submit and be cared for was nailed really well. plus a decent story line.

Entertaining, steamy and brilliantly narrated.
This was an intriguing read. There is quite a bit of action. mystery, conspiracy, murder and more.
You will have some really steamy, sex scenes too to keep you motor running. If you like daddy dom and spanking you will not be able to put this book down.
Avery is a great strong character with trouble at he heals. Mike is strong and macho alpha male, he is exactly what she needs and he was happy to take her on with all her troubles.
It's an entertaining story and it is brilliantly narrated to capture all the emotions of each character.
