Summary
Jonah Steel is intelligent, rich, and hard-working. As the oldest of his siblings, he was charged by his father to protect them.
He failed in the worst way.
Dr. Melanie Carmichael has her own baggage. Although the renowned therapist was able to help Jonah's brother, she is struggling with feelings of inadequacy. When the oldest Steel walks into her office seeking solace, she can't turn her back.
As Melanie and Jonah attempt to work through their issues together, desperately trying to ignore the desire brewing between them, ghosts from both their pasts surface...and danger draws near.

brilliant
As always ends on a cliff hanger. About to start next book and see if my hunches are right on whos doing what and whos guilty or innocent. The erotic passages are an added bonus to a fantastic story.

Good
While the main story concentrates on Jonah and Melanie it's great to see Talon and Jade's story continue.

Should be sold as box set
I have enjoyed these audiobooks. now on to book 5 in the series but its very annoying that they all end in a cliff hanger as a rouse to purchase the next book. They should be sold as trilogies and as such would be greater value for money. Selling as single books for just 7 hours of audio does rather smack of greed.

Great story line
Loved the story line, female narrator a bit robotic sounding, I felt like I was listening to an automated broadcast.

The story continues
I was concerned before I started this book with the change in angle for the story however I was pleased to find that Talon and Jades story continues in the background. I have enjoyed Jonah and Melanie's story so far, the only thing that I am struggling with this book is the male narrators female voice, it's very quickly spoken and just doesn't sound right to me, I understand why different narrators have been used, different characters so different voices but I would of preferred it if the same narrators had been used as the first three books.

Good story but shame about the Male narration 😠😠
and performed brilliantly. The narrator's voices were excellent even when speaking the part of the opposite sex characters. unfortunately the same can not be said for the narrator reading the character of Jonan (particularly when portraying any female voices) - to the point where it distracted me from the story line, lessening my overall enjoyment of the book. His reading is too fast and aggressive, the female parts were read in an awful over the top and very irritating way, trying too hard to sound female rather than just 'softer'. A huge shame as the story and characters are really good but spoilt by the male narrator. I'm hoping for better in book 7 if I can just manage to get to listen to the last book in this set.

preferred the first 2 books
I personally preferred the voices in the first 3 books, and the story is getting very repetitive
