Summary

Few people know better than Delta Force soldiers that life is unbearably short and achingly precious. So Cormac Fletcher isn't waiting one more day to marry the love of his life, Emily.

Fletch has already adopted her daughter, Annie. Now it's time to officially make Emily his too.

Emily understands just about every woman experiences a few wedding snafus - but they're usually not of the harrowing, life-or-death variety. Fortunately for her, a guest list full of Delta soldiers and SEALs will make this an event to remember - for both Emily and the uninvited guests trying to ruin her special day.

Trouble at the wedding reception...

This was a short listen about Emily and Fletch’s wedding and was enjoyable. I just love the character of Annie! If you have been listening to the series in order, then this should definitely be listened to after Rescuing Emily. It might not connect otherwise. Narration was very well done.

You could hear the love.

The story is filled with love. Love of family and love of friends. Yes, there is action. Of course, Annie is adorable. The narrator is wonderful. Susan Stoker knows how to write an action story and combine it with great characters that show their love to each other. I definitely love the audibles version of her books.

this wasn't a book. It was a CHAPTER!!

Why would the Author write a chapter & call it a book?? It wasted a full credit!! RIDICULOUS...I'VE READ AMATEUR FICTION WRITERS WRITE BETTER THAN "Marrying Emily" skip it, you miss nothing.

Finally the wedding

What made the experience of listening to Marrying Emily the most enjoyable?

The narrator this author uses does a wonderful job of bringing the characters to life.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Marrying Emily?

When Annie was going down the aisle dropping both flowers and toy soliders

What about Stella Bloom’s performance did you like?

How she brings the characters to life and uses the same voice inflections for each character from book to book

Any additional comments?

Well worth a credit but I would go start the series at the beginning if you haven't read the other books yet.

Becoming a Delta Force Wife

Where does Marrying Emily rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Right at the top. Anything that Susan Stoker writes is going to be on the top of my list.

What other book might you compare Marrying Emily to and why?

Any of Susan book's at they go hand and hand.

Have you listened to any of Stella Bloom’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

It was very good.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Annie is a great little girl. Her comments that embarrass her parents is wonderful. You can just picture a kid doing and saying the things that she does.
