Great!

Not the usual type of book I go for but I read it because of the excellent reviews. I wasn't disappointed, I thoroughly enjoyed this story and it made me feel thankful for the choices and freedom I have had.

a gentle tale of wartime love

Really enjoyed the book despite being a little clichéd and predictable. Good narration too. Also researched well.

Mesmerising

A beautiful story that just draws you in from the start, I didn't want it to end! Just wonderful. The narrator was spot on I felt she brought the characters to life just as I imagined them.
