    "Fabulous!"

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. The narration was good, as was the story. I've not read/listened the other books on this series, but did not feel if missed anything (though I will do a catch up - I'm keen to see the other Harris brothers stories).

The story was well paced, and had me laughing out loud in places. The characters were well written and I enjoyed their interations. Fabulous!

    "5 Stubborn Booker Stars"

Aah. I love the Harris Brothers and Booker is up there with the best of them. What a wonderful family, with a fantastic support network of wonderful family, friends and girlfriends. Book 3 Keeper, follows the youngest brother Booker Harris and his lifelong best friend Poppy McAdams. Poppy McAdams who has been in love with her best friend Booker, for like ever! I love friends to lovers, along with the tension, the chemistry and the angst. This had it all, and you know, you just know, when they become more than best friends and they swear that nothing will every change, no matter what. You know that it will, then you spend the rest of the book trying to find out how they’re going to make it work. In Keeper we also have a major ‘oh no, I did not see that coming’ In the mix that just added to the beautiful story. What a wonderful story, with a strong heroine and a sweet, if not sometimes stubborn and stupid, hero. Narrated perfectly by Will M Watt and Charlotte Cole, and I have to say, I can’t imagine anyone else doing the job quite as well. I love them together. What a wonderful read.

"One of the best in the series so far"

When I received the invite to listen to this audiobook I was jumping up and down. I was so excited. I loved Challenge and Endurance, and Keeper did not disappoint.

I love Ms. Daws writing and this was my first audiobook for her story and I have to say she chose the narrators perfectly. They caught all the emotions how I imagined them
    In my head. Simply perfect.

Booker and Poppy are just amazing together. As a friends and as a couple. But it doesn’t mean there was no drama to get to the stage of being lovers. This book is so packed with feels that I sometimes felt overwhelmed. And it. Was. Amazing.

Loved every second of this audiobook.

I’m new to audiobooks, so new that this is only my second one. And the first one was Endurance, the book before this one in the Harris Brothers series.

I loved Will Watt and Lottie Cole as narrators for Endurance, but for Keeper? Wow! These guys were born to narrate these two characters.

Listenting to this on audio, brings all the feels and more that I had whilst I read the book earlier in the year when it was released. Will does Booker perfectly and the secondary character accents in Irish (Nigel) and particularly the Scottish accent (Andrew) are fabulous as well. Man, the Scottish accent? I literally giggled loud and hard like a schoolgirl the first part of the book that it appeared in. It made me so happy! And Will is so good, that just like if I was talking to someone with the Scottish accent, I couldn’t clearly decipher it all. A Scottish person probably could, but little old me? Nup. Most of it yes, but not all of it.

Will and Lottie bringing life to this story is just so much fun and also so emotional. I swear, this audiobook is perfection. Lottie perfectly does Poppy’s parts where she sings as she talks, and just the emotion in all the voices in the tense or emotional scenes is fabulous.

Particular scenes like the one with Vi and Booker after he babysits Rocky one night, they really showcase how well these two work at bringing the emotion to the forefront. And the scenes where its the three girls, Poppy, Indie and Belle, they’re so much fun too!

Both Will and Lottie make it easy to distinguish which character is speaking, and they really bring out their personalities. If the characters are laughing, you’re laughing, if they’re crying, you’re crying, if there is angst or anguish or anger, you feel it to. I will admit to grinning like a fool while listening to this, and also trying to hold back the tears. If people had seen me they would’ve wondered who the crazy person was 😉

Amy Daws has done such a fabulous job writing this novel, its my fave Harris Brothers book so far, I absolutely ADORE Booker and having these two narrate is, as I said before, perfection.

If you’re more into listening to a book rather than reading it, THEN GET KEEPER! If you like to read a book but also listen to the audio, THEN GET KEEPER! Pretty much, JUST GET KEEPER! You won’t regret it!

"One of my favourite books of 2017"

Oh, My God!!!! Why has it taken me so long to dive into this series? And why has nobody been hitting me over the head demanding I read or listen to it? My god, people! I am in love with this book. The humour, the setting, and the trope. It was all perfect. One of my favourite books of 2017! I’ll admit I was a little worried; an American setting her books in England, pfft, I’ve experienced that before and regretted it but what Amy Daws does is amazing, she’s done her homework! At no point did I sit there and think 'clearly this has been written by an American.' I now need to dive into the other books. I need the twins’ stories, and Violet’s. And what about Gareth? I want them all.

Amy’s writing is so engaging. She creates characters that you want to spend time with. I zoomed through this book because I just couldn’t bring myself to hit pause. I finished it at 6.30am, I literally spent the night with these characters because I couldn’t pull myself away. That to me is the mark of an excellent book. This story was so incredibly entertaining. I laughed, I cried, and yes, I swooned too. It’s been a couple of days, and I am still thinking about it and talking about it. I’m sure my book buddies are fed up of me!

This book is filled with characters that you’ll love, as mentioned above, I need to go back and listen to the other books because I need more time and more info about the Harris family.
Booker is a complete sweetheart, who at times, I wanted to punch in the balls, just because, he was so frustrating. We knew how he felt but he just needed a little push. He had great banter with his brothers, but you also felt sorry for him, being younger he never really stood his ground, until he did, and I have to say I was cheering him on!
I adored Poppy, she was crazy – in a good way, so funny. I loved her little eccentric ways, the singing the end of sentences was cute and fit her so well. I usually don’t enjoy female characters as much as the male ones, but Poppy was so awesome, I loved her just as much as Booker. She dealt with a number of different issues in the book and I thought she handled them gracefully. (For example, she didn’t punch Booker in the balls!). Poppy for the win!

I loved the friends to lovers theme of this book. The banter between Booker and Poppy was a highlight for me. A true friendship. I really enjoyed listening to their story unfold and how their friendship turned into something more. How they tried to fight it, well, Booker, at least. Thankfully he was able to get with the programme and make us all happy. It was sweet and sexy. The sexy times were very well written and played a pivotal role in the story. Although it’s a sports romance there isn’t a lot of sport in it, so if that has you on the fence, jump on over, it’ll be worth it, I promise.

This duet narration was fantastic. You really felt a part of the story, like you were truly experiencing it. It’s the first time I’ve heard anything by either narrator and they blew me away. The inflections and accents used to differentiate between the characters were outstanding, and the way both of them performed the emotional moments were wonderful and may have caused a few tears. The sexy times were performed brilliantly, and well, sexily. Charlotte Cole was fabulous as Poppy, she really encompassed this character, and I especially loved the inclusion of the singing. Will M Watt was so charming as Booker (I may have swooned) and really hit the emotional moments so perfectly. He also did a fabulous Scottish accent that I think will have the American listenership swooning all over the place. The production was smooth with no issues.

The narrative on this audio is absolutely wonderful, I love that Amy Daws has obviously put so much time and effort into make sure this audio is at its best. Doing the dual narration makes this audio better, casting fantastic readers, another added bonus for me. Some authors just don’t think that much into it and for me that can often spoil the book. A wonderful story turn into an amazing audio.

Keeper is the 3rd book in the Harris Brothers series of British Sports Romances which as a Brit i love hearing football knowing it is meant as football as most books refer to it as soccer which i always find strange to say and i absolutely adored Booker and Poppy's story.

Booker Harris is a professional Goalkeeper, who's life was turned upside down when his childhood best friend left for Germany to attend college, without giving him a reason or a proper goodbye.
Poppy is this head strong, sweet and funny girl who is more than a little clumsy. Having loved Booker for as long as she can remember, when she left for college in Germany she was nursing a broken heart and never told Booker why!!

6 years later and Poppy returns to take a teaching job, having only kept minimal contact with Booker she's shocked and nervous when Booker suggests that she temporarily move in with him. How is this going to work out when two friends who haven't seen each other for 6 years come together again with so much they are hiding from each other.

I loved watching Booker and Poppy grow and work thinks out in their minds, with lots of great witt and humour. From the moment he sets eyes on Poppy for the first time, feelings he didn't realise he had come bubbling to the surface. But Booker doesn't believe he is capable of love outside of his family and tries to fight what feels like his destiny to be with Poppy. Poppy too struggles with her feelings for Booker, not being able to put the past behind her.

This read was packed with moments that will melt your heart, make you laugh out loud, with heartbreak and hotness that will have you fanning yourself and all the drama of a not so easy friends to lovers story. I literally couldn’t put it down and i'm looking forward to the last Harris brother story.

5 Crazy Ass Must Read In One Sitting Stars!!!!!

Laughter, tears, off-the-charts chemistry, heart-break, heart-ache, swoons, smiles, and tons of Harris' crazy abound in this latest installment to the Harris Brothers series.
So I had all the intentions of posting a pic of this on my kindle when I was about to start reading early this morning. A strange thing happened. It actually has not happened to me in a while so that's the strange part. I read this in one sitting! Yeah, I know! I have not been this engrossed in a book in a while that I haven't been able to put it done at least for a couple of hours to run errands and such. Yeah I started at around 7 am and the next thing I know it's 12:45pm. Yeah, errands schmerrands! Seriously though, I have not been so engrossed in a book like I was with this one. Totally had to give this it's own rating too!
I love this series. Actually, I've loved everything I've read by Amy Daws and this book was no different. It was great to get Booker's (and Poppy's) story. He has intrigued me a lot in Endurance. I loved Poppy and all her quirkiness. She cracked me up quite a few times.
Amy Daws totally rocked this! One of my favorite things when reading a series is to have characters from previous series have a part in the current series. So you can safely say I loved the little cameo appearances of Theo and Brody. And I love that Amy continues to do this.
I am looking forward for Gareth's story next. I have been wanting his story since Vi's story in That One Moment (London Lovers series). Let the Crazy Ass Stalking commence because I need to find out when this Harris Brother will be hitting the virtual shelves.

I absolutely loved the audiobook! I could listen to Will and Charlotte all day. Oh, wait. I did listen to them all day.
When I first read this book back in Sept, I absolutely loved it. Booker and Poppy's story drew me in so much so that I read it in one sitting while ignoring errands I need to run. Thankfully, that was not the problem with the audiobook. The problem came while I was running to the grocery story for a couple of things earlier and spent 45 mins in my car listening to Will and Charlotte. Gosh, those two nailed the narration! They totally fit Booker and Poppy perfectly.
I thought the two of them did a great job with the narration of Endurance but I think they topped that with the addition of the Irish and Scottish accents. Amy, you were so right when you said the Scottish accent was a "show stealer". Loved it. I may or may not have bookmarked those scenes so that I can listen to them over and over. HA!
I didn't think this story could get better but the narration totally made it more. Will and Charlotte totally brought all the characters to life and gave the story additional depth.

"By far my favorite friends to lovers romance!!"

Oh my goodness, this book is so, so, so amazingly good. The story, its characters, this outstanding narration… the accents! Swoon! This book is everything! I don’t even know where to start… maybe best with a…

Confession: It’s the first book written by Amy Daws that I’ve read. Yeah, I know, I won’t be able to talk myself out of this one. Because I have seriously been missing out on something absolutely incredible. I know I’ll be listening to the other books in this series very, very soon. …and to say I’m intrigued by Gareth, the final Harris sibling to get his story, is a terrible understatement!

Writing: An American writing a story set in London? Uhm, tricky, and spiced with so many tripping hazards, it’s not even funny. But Amy expertly avoids all those and creates a believable English environment, her writing flawless and engaging… I loved every single word of it!

Story: It’s a friends to lovers story, one of my favorite trope, but it also has kind of a second chance feeling to it. Poppy and Booker have known each other their whole life – and at least Poppy was in love with Booker ever since. Then he unknowingly broke her heart – and she left, leaving a lost and devastated Booker behind. Now, six years later, Poppy is back in London. Gone is the shy and awkward teenage girl, his best friend, his mate, instead he is confronted with a gorgeous woman. A woman he cannot help but notice. Seeing their endless banter, their deep-rooted friendship developing into something so much more was stunning as much as it was intense. Every up and down I felt deep in my bones, Booker’s palpable fear of losing and ruining their friendship forever so real, resulting in this powerful make-or-break slow burn… The moments where I felt everything Poppy did were countless, right down to having my knees buckle alongside hers at something Booker said – and I’m not even talking about their passionate sex here! It’s as beautiful as it is heart-wrenching.

    Characters:
Booker, oh sweet lord! What a beautiful man, yet so blind to love… He really frustrated the hell out of me at times. But still, I got where he was coming from, wounded by the loss of his mom at a young age – a scar so deep within it never appeared on the surface. It takes a lot of pushing and prodding and some reverse psychology (god, I cheered for Vi so much!) for him to actually see what’s right in front of him, and also to outgrow the shadow his older brothers still cast on him.
Poppy – sweet, fun and loving – maybe even a bit eccentric in her habit of singing the end of her sentences. And, oh, not to forget her hilarious inner thoughts about sharing a bath with someone – I start to giggle every time I think about that. Lol! A wonderful and crazy woman I truly adored.

Narration: Duet narration in perfection! Will M. Watt has to be my favorite male narrator, I could listen to his voice all day. And his portrayal of Booker made me fall for him even harder. Charlotte Cole was new to me, and it took me a couple of chapters to warm up to her, but, my god, her narration was one of the most emotional narrations I’ve ever listened to! And she even included Poppy’s singing :) Both of them general, it wasn’t just narrated, you could also hear them laughing, scoffing, tsking, shouting, crying. Every part of the story felt real, every emotion perfectly conveyed, every character having his / her own distinct voice and accent… Oh, the accents! If the English ones weren’t swoon-worthy enough, there was also a Scottish one – double swoon!

My highlights: Poppy studying in Germany and swearing in German had this German girl grinning all over. The fact that it’s about soccer, one of the very few sports I actually know something about. Booker playing my favorite position – keepers are sooo underrated! The accents! Poppy’s bath-sharing thoughts (again)!

I officially declare KEEPER by Amy Daws my favorite friends to lovers romance of all time!

"5 I want to be "Keepered" stars!!"

This was my second audio book by Amy Daws and now, I am absolutely obsessed with them. The narrators are beyond perfect. They are able to capture Booker and Poppy to the “T” and I couldn’t have asked for more. I started the audio one day in the car, on the way to work, and then used every excuse in the book to have my headphones on at work. I finished it in one day which I have NEVER done with audio book. Physical, and e-books sure, but never an audio. Grab this one up now!

Booker Harris may be the baby in the family but in this story he is 100% man! Each Harris book gets better and better! I don’t know how she does it! I didn’t think it was possible to love someone as much as I loved the twins but Booker blew them right out of the water.

Booker is everything and has definitely found the person that completes him in Poppy. This story spans the years of their relationship and it helps to connect right away with the story. Watching them become friends at a young age, to them now adults was so fun and I couldn’t get enough. Poppy has returned home after she ran away brokenhearted 6 years ago. They are both stubborn as can be but also loyal, smart, funny, and loving.

Daws has written such a wonderful story that sucks you in from the first page and won’t let go until you’ve read the entire story. The chemistry between the two is not lost anywhere and sparks of the page right along with feeling every single emotion from happy to sad to frustration to relief. A complete winner in my book.

I am so excited that Gareth gets his own story next! He is the dark, broody, silent type and I can’t wait to see what happens! Plus, if you haven’t heard the news: HE GETS 2 BOOKS!!! GIMME! GIMME!

    "Great Audio Book!"

I love a friends to romance story and this was a very enjoyable read by Amy Daws! Booker is the baby of the family and despite his calm, cool demeanor on the outside there’s a scared little boy on the inside. With his best friend Poppy he can be the real Booker or can he??
These two drove me crazy at times with there back and forth. Clearly they are made for each other but they have issues from their past that are preventing them from moving forward. The angst between these characters at time was too much. I just wanted to shake some sense into the both of them and tell them to get it together already! I enjoyed seeing the other Harris siblings and their leading ladies. I also listened to the audio version as I read and I LOVED the dual narrators. They both nailed it with this audio and I felt every single emotion in the story. This was one of the best audiobooks I’ve listened to in a long time! Plus they had the most amazing accents ever!!

    "5 Getting Keepered Stars"

Charlotte Cole and Will Watt literally brought Booker and Poppy to life and it was AWESOME!!! I FREAKING LOVE this series so much and listening to it literally made me love Booker and Poppy that much more. This is one of the things I love about listening to audiobooks. No matter how much I loved it while reading it, listening to it is literally like "reading" it for the first time.

I could feel Poppy's frustration with Booker as well as her love. It was literally palpable thanks the Ms. Cole's phenomenal narration. Oh and Booker, Will Watt IS Booker and everything he says either melts my panties, has me snort laughing or has tears welling in my eyes. I'm a huge fan of dual narration in general and with this book it's the absolutely right way to go as it just brings the story that much more to life.

Below is the review I wrote when I read the book back in September....

Oh Booker Harris I'll be "kept" by you anytime you'd like!! Unfortunately, I think Poppy McAdams has dibs on you for the rest of her life...

Yes, I loved everything about this book. We finally get Booker's story and oh what a story it is. Booker and Poppy have been lifelong friends starting when they were little and playing in the park behind their respective homes and let me tell you that first meeting melted my heart...

"I jump to my feet when I see a girl I know from school standing in front of me with a black dog next to her....She's dressed in a bright yellow sundress that's covered in mud, and her long blonde hair is dirty and full of sticks and tangles....This girl's not running from me. She's standing really still. I think I like her"

This was the beginning of a friendship that transcended any other relationship Booker had had in his lifetime being the youngest Harris brother. Both Booker and Poppy would play key parts in each other's lives growing up and going to school until the moment that everything changed and Poppy leaves for several years. Over the years, Booker works hard to be one of the best Keeper's in the Country, but he hasn't found love.

Once Poppy comes back all bets are off with these two because it just seems like the moment Booker sees Poppy again, he's knocked off his axis...

"My dearest and oldest friend, who used to have long, stringy blonde hair, has chopped it all off. Her silky platinum blonde tresses sweep stunningly off to the side. She looks so much more feminine this way, her cropped hair perfectly highlighting her full lips and the high arch of her cheekbones."

Poor Booker just didn't know what to do with himself, but he knew one thing, he had to have Poppy and for more than just one night. I fell in love with our H/h. Poppy doesn't really let him get away with anything because she's not the same girl that left six years ago. What she is though is a woman that wants to be "keepered" and Booker is the man that can do that. Her feelings for him may be stronger than his are for her....or are they? One thing is clear, when these two can't deny the attraction anymore....

"He's just taken me. Claimed me. Owned me. Like I'm his. I want to be his so bloody much."

Along the road to these two exploring if they can be more than friends, all the Harris's and their significant others are actively involved in this story and we get to see baby Rocky and she's got her uncles wrapped around her tiny little finger. I digress from the main point of our story though...Booker and Poppy have some hurdles to get over to get to their HEA. There's things said that shouldn't be said, things that should've been said and some heat generated that is nearly combustible; especially when they're NOT in a bedroom!

A lot of their hurdles stem from Booker's past and fears that opening up his heart to this all encompassing love could lead to pain because that's what he knows of love. My heart physically hurt for Booker because I know he wanted to love Poppy, his family knows he wants to love Poppy, but Poppy isn't sure he wants to love her.

Ms. Daws has given us a story that pulled me in from the first page and as I read more and more, I was rooting for these two because finding that forever love. Her words have the ability to keep me as a reader so engrossed in the story that before I know it, I'm turning the last page with the smile on my face matching the smile in my heart.

I had read the book when it released and always love picking up the audio to relive all that I love about a book.

Hence, I had to pick up Keeper, I fell in love with Booker all over again! I loved the duet book reading, this was the first audio I have listened to where both the male and female read the parts meant for a male/female voice.

I plan on downloading Challenge and Endurance. Great book and great Audio!

I was given the opportunity to check out "Keeper" by Amy Daws in audiobook. And I am absolutely loving it. Having dual narration from Will Watt and Charlotte Cole really brings this entire story to life. I never really guessed that this would matter, to be totally honest. But it does and from the moment I started listening, this story literally seemed to come to life in my mind. Hearing their voices made me feel like I was right in the moment. It was fantastic.

The story of Booker and Poppy is really sweet and while you would call it friends to lovers, I appreciated the direction the author took with this story. In the past, I've always felt like some friends to lovers have taken the path of one friend liking the other and the other person treating the first like a jerk. This story does have a slight tinge of that, but Booker and Poppy's past is more about miscommunication and being young.

This book is absolutely hilarious. One of my favorite facets of these characters is how real they are. One scene that comes to my mind is when Poppy and Booker are first living together. Poppy is immediately worrying about going poo. Later, Booker is worrying about the bathroom arrangements and trying to remember to put the seat down. It was just this hilarious inner monologue that you know people have thought before. The humor made these characters come to life for me, and the added bonus of experiencing this story in audio only made it better.

I can't recommend this book enough. It's already fantastic in written form, but I highly recommend allowing yourself the enjoyment of the audiobook. The narrators bring Booker and Poppy off of the page and into real life. A must-read and a must-listen to!

    "A Must Have!"

We all know and love the Hemsworth brothers, right? If you don't, you're really missing out. Accents. Muscles. Sparkling eyes. Gorgeous smiles. The Harris brothers are like the Hemsworths of the romance book world and they never disappoint. Will Watt and Charlotte Cole narrating Booker and Poppy is just...PERFECT. Charlotte nailed Poppy's tendency to sing and the emotion in Will's voice brought to life Booker's emotional struggles. How would I describe the Keeper audiobook? Sensual. Charming. Emotional. Humorous.  A must listen!

    "HOLY CRAP!!! WHAT A BOOK!!!"

    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!!!!

HOLY CRAP!!! WHAT A BOOK!!! I got the pleasure of listening to this book and Will M. Watt & Charlotte Cole are just perfection, best narration I have heard to date. They really bring the characters to life in a way that I haven't heard before. We meet Booker Harris a footy player who is excelling on the field but has never been able to allow himself to love anyone, the closest he came to it was his best mate Poppy McAdams. She has always been there for him through all the pain and joys they shared growing up. That is until she up and left six years ago, while leaving him confused as to why. So when Poppy comes back and Booker asks her to be his roommate things start to happen between them. Poppy has loved Booker all their lives but the secret hurt that caused her to run away from him before may destroy her. WOW!!! What a story I love Amy Daws and I have become a new fan. How she takes her readers hand and walks them through a beautiful, sexy and emotional journey is so amazing. This is a must read and really a must listen to book. HIGHLY RECOMMEND and if I could give it more than five stars I would. BRILLIANT STORY!!!!

    "My Thoughts on Keeper"

Just when I thought I couldn't possibly love a Harris brother more than the last, Amy Daws gives me Booker Harris and I'm head over heels for someone new.

This book had a lot of heart and emotion written in. While the last 2 books in the series certainly had their moments, in this one the deep emotions really stood out for me. The glimpses into the past to see how this wonderful friendship came about really helped connect me to both characters. It didn't hurt that both of them were easy to love and so relatable either.

I just loved this book so much. Booker may be the youngest of the Harris brothers, but he is absolutely sitting in the top spot of favorite brother for me. I need Gareth's story now. I need to get this last story because the glimpses I've gotten so far will never be enough. I highly recommend this book and this whole series while you're at it.

The narrators were perfection. Will Watt is absolutely my favorite male narrator right now. Charlotte Cole is quickly making her mark for me as well and I certainly would never hesitate to pick up a book narrated by her.
