Summary

One look, and panties drop. One night, and they're ready to marry me.

Too bad I'm not interested in anything more than a taste.

Until I'm tempted by Little Miss Goody-Two-Shoes. She's a good girl, the kind I want to possess, dominate, ruin. No one's ever told me no, and I'm not about to let it stop me now.

She keeps pushing me away, even with her curvy body pressed against mine and those soft moans spilling from her lips. But I'm persistent. She doesn't stand a chance. And now that she's moved in next door, it's only a matter of time before I'll have her screaming my name.

She can try to run, but she's not getting away from the bad boy next door.

Inked is a full-length romance with an HEA, no cheating, and no cliffhanger.

A MUST READ😚😚😚HOT😚😘😚😘

Inked was as his great as all of both Lauren Landish & Willow Winters books.

Here we meet student Maddy & her best mate Katie, who've just moved for their studies & going into their private rental.
So they go out, which Maddy doesn't want to, due to finding her ex having sexual relations with someone but her & she's NOT interested in hooking up, but THEN her eyes connect with someone FULL of tattoos & that man was Zane, who gets her to dance & her body starts to kick alive when he kisses her & she can't have it So she Runs thinking nothing of it as she THINKS she won't see him again.
And here we get a comical scenario whilst they were starting to wait for the removals when Zane turns up informing them that he's their neighbour & I mean a in Next Door & the hottest scene was in their adjacent windows & god you do need a Cold Drink to Cool yourself down 😚
So we see how much Tattoo Artist Zane tries to woo her, which he's never needed to do so before, which he does until she says she'll go out on a date & things go lovely & smoothly with them until she see's what she's not meant to see & her days are numbers which Zane in some ways thought he had her safe, though not 100% confident & that in itself is why he had her covered, but it is TOO LATE.....

LIKED THIS ONE BUT COULD HAVE LOVED IT

I loved the male narrator but HATED the female narrator. I could have really enjoyed it but I found my self wishing JF would start reading and tell the chick to shut up. And since he was so good I was forced to finish the book. I could take it or leave it.

So Good!!!

This book is written by Lauren Landish and Willow Winters, whom I read frequently, so needless to say I enjoy their writing style. There are unexpected twists and turns in this Duet Narration. Both JF Harding and Holly Chandler did a fantastic performance. I had read the book previously and found I enjoyed the audiobook more. The narrators bring a sense of urgency through their voices and emotions that are not conveyed as well on a page. I would definitely listen to this book again when I'm in the mood for some steam and more. My review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion of it. I was voluntarily provided with this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator. I do not like to give away spoilers in my reviews, but I will let you know that this is a standalone book and it does not end in a cliffhanger. I found the ending quite fitting.

I do not like Maddie

She is an insecure little girl. I do not like her attitude to the point that I stopped listening toward the end. I couldn't even finish the book.

DNF

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

No. The female lead (Maddie) was an immature, whiny, unlikeable character. She was so juvenile it was almost painful to listen to her speak. It's weird how the author can make make lead (Zane) interesting & cool & hot and then just butcher the female lead in the same story. Unfortunately, even all of Zane's hotness wasn't enough to make me want to finish it.

What do you think your next listen will be?

I don't know. Probably something by Vi Keeland or Helena Hunting.

What does J.F. Harding and Holly Chandler bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

They were great.

Could you see Inked being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

If Maddie gets a complete rewrite, yes.

How is this so highly rated?

The lead characters in this book are idiots. It’s like listening to early high school drama. They seriously act like teenagers. I can’t even count how many times I rolled my eyes. I couldn’t even finish listening to the book because I was so annoyed. I can literally count on one hand how many times I haven’t listened to an audiobook all the way through. Can’t do it.

Trite But Cute Enough

The Romance Package rating was fairly accurate for once. The action portion was painfully cliche.

AMAZINGGGGGGGG

This book was so good it had me on the edge of my couch Eger to listen to the next chapter. I'd listen to this book over and over again if I could. I don't regret spending my credit not one bit!

Bad Boy / Good Girl

Bad boys have such a pill. These two authors pulled it off with a 5-star review. there is suspense, romance, lust, all wrapped in a fine package. I'll even go as far to admit that it pulled at my heartstrings at times. Very well written very well performed and extremely captivating

Meh!!!

Inked was okay. I didn't feel any real connection with the characters. In fact, I found Kady a bit annoying. Maddie and Kady behaved like 8th graders together. Zane was a little more tolerable, but not by much. So while reading Inked wasn't the best way to spend an afternoon, it wasn't the worst either. Meh.

Tatoo Artist Next Door!

Madeline and her friend Katie wind up in a bar one night when she sees Zane however she wants nothing to do with him as she is recovering from her unfaithful boyfriend. Zane owns a tattoo shop however his business is not as it appears.

When he realizes she is his neighbor he continues his pursuit and she gives in but when trouble comes calling will Zane be able to protect her so that they may have their happy ever after?

Steamy chemistry, suspense and good secondary characters made this an enjoyable story. I liked the narrators however I much preferred J.F. Harding.
