Summary

Is anyone truly prepared for the apocalypse?

Well, Kerry certainly isn't, and she fairly quickly discovers that looking sharp in a business suit and heels is not going to help anyone when there's an apocalypse, with possible zombies!

Together with a super spy, an ex girl guide, and a personal trainer with manly foraging skills, Kerry must battle terrifying religious cults, rich people, and her personal demons, all whilst having the daily chore of deciding what to wear.

This is a laugh-out-loud comedy with romance, heart, and talking badgers and is not to be missed.

Brilliant audiobook that adds an extra layer to the story

Having previously read the book I was intrigued as to how the narrator wildness it and if it would be similar to how I read it in my head. At times it was a bit hard to work out which character was speaking as there wasn't much difference in them, but this was only at times and when I wasn't paying attention 100%. Once I got used to how the character were voiced i found the narrator really good and it sounded like she enjoyed the book as much as I did.

The story itself is your usual girl gets dressed up for a meeting in high heels, the apocalypse hits and she has to look after herself and her new friends. Ok so not really a typical story but one which I loved before and still do, even when I know what is coming i still enjoyed it.

Overall I think the narrator did a good job and can't wait to see how she tackles the next one in the series.
