Summary

Crash has never let the circumstances of his birth, or his lack of a last name, bother him. His associations may be unsavory, but money, friends, and infamy open far more interesting doors than respect ever could. His sole regret? Once lovely, sweet Daisy Whitlaw learned the truth about how he made his fortune, she cut him off.

Daisy's father is dead, her mother is in ill health, and her available funds have dwindled to a memory. When the local parish announces a charity bequest to help young people start a trade, it's her last chance. So what if the grants are intended for men? If she's good enough, she might bluff her way into a future.

When Crash offers to show her how to swagger with confidence, she knows he is up to no good. But with her life in the balance, she's desperate enough to risk the one thing she hasn't yet lost: her heart.

Even the great Rosalyn Landor did not save it

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

It was ok as a distraction, but the full length novels by Courtney Milan are so much better, that I felt a bit like the credit was not worth it.

What could Courtney Milan have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Not write novellas.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

The scene mit der card playing ladies.

Could you see Her Every Wish being made into a movie or a TV series? Who would the stars be?

Not enough there for a movie.

Any additional comments?

The full length novels of the same auther are totally worth purchasing.

Good but expensive

I own all the books by Courtney Milan that are available from Audible because they are well written and are excellently read by Rosalyn Landor. Her Every Wish was sweetly satisfying but expensive for its length.

Too short to truly develop

The story was ok but too short to truly develop and feel real connection with the characters. The narrator did a good job I just didn’t connect with the story.
