    "WOW!"

I loved Goldenrod. It's filled with the people we love from Jericho. I like that it touched on everyone's story. It advanced all the characters, not just some. Christine Williams does an excellent job with the narration. Anxiously awaiting the next book.

    "Awesome book"

Loved getting aquatinted with the characters of Jericho again. I had so many different feels during the reading I laughed and cried and was even angry. Ann never disappoints in her writing. I feel like this story is not over with and I hope that she will continue this story as I have to know what happens to Dorthy

    Story
"Third Time Definitely Not the Charm"

Being a native of the area where this story is set I took a shot at the original book in this trilogy. To say I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked Jericho is a huge understatement. The sequel 'Aftermath' was good enough not to be any sort of major disappointment, though it was certainly a notch or two below Jericho. The unfortunate drift towards characters becoming caricatures in Aftermath became as accelerated as the development of cell phones in the 21st century in 'Goldenrod'. Syd is now a total shrew David is a bigger queen than Liberace, Mattie is not only totally whipped she's totally clueless as well. Meanwhile the mayor and the town council have suddenly become major homophobes and in a midnight meeting pass anti gay ordinances suspiciously like those enacted by the legislature across the state line. You know, the old white men in the state beginning with the word North who passed the infamous "bathroom bill." Perhaps it could be that I'm seeing this particular work too negatively but as far as I'm concerned 'Goldenrod' wouldn't be worth it, if it was the daily deal.

Unfortunately had to delete the story as it jumped to another part/chapter without completing the current one. could not follow the story in this manner.
