Summary

After nearly losing his friend in a logging accident, Gage Barringer is convinced now more than ever that he needs to find a different job. But his side business of breaking colts at the small Montana ranch he inherited from his grandfather doesn't earn him enough money. He has his mind set on running The Raven's Nest, a popular bar and restaurant near his ranch. The original owner has died, and Gage is waiting for it to be put up for sale. But there is a five-foot-four, brown-eyed obstacle in his way, an obstacle with lips made for sin and a voice made for breaking hearts. And Summer Donovan is one road block Gage Barringer won't be able to find a way around.

Narrators are not suited for this book

OMG. I found the narrators to be painfully awful. This is not the first time I listened to the narrators. I think they read Ynyr. But YIKES this read is bad.

Narration is hard to take.

The story is engaging but its hard to lose yourself in a blonde sassy California girl with that accent. If that's not bad
enough try to imagine an alpha BA from Minneaota that sounds like he should be asking for tea. I guess it's an Australian accent, not really sure but doesn't work for this book.

I really hate the narration.

Hate, hate, hate. However if you enjoy having romance/ sex scenes read as though they were children's books... Male narrator is as capable of reading an "alpha male" character as Mr. Rogers. Pronounced p*ssy same as the foul discharge from an infected wound... hot! Not. The female narrator should host anglophile tea parties, in other words way too prissy.

Loved the characters and the story. So looking forward to the next Barringer in the series. Drew me right in.
