Summary

The Conclusion of Gwen and JC's Story

I came to The Sky Launch to begin fresh, away from the horrors of my past. The circumstances that brought me here were not the best, but I've become good friends with Alayna and Hudson Pierce, and my family has healed in ways I never thought they could. With them around me, I've never felt more at home. But starting anew means letting go. And there are some things I don't want to leave behind - like JC, the man who taught me how to let loose. The man I wasn't supposed to love. The man I don't want to lose. My life is safe now. The threats from before have become less menacing, and I'm faced with a choice: either move on completely or keep holding to the hope that JC loves me enough to come and find me.

Better off if it wasn’t written

I finished the first book and found it quite good so naturally I bought the second book. Big mistake. Besides the characters there’s nothing in common and the writing was appalling. Like two different genres.

Waited forever but worth it

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I waited forever for this to be released on audible. But I must say that it was worth it. I just love Gwen and JC anyway and the first book, free me left me hanging, so I'm glad that Ms Paige didn't get complacent with the final version.

What other book might you compare Find Me to, and why?

This series are just as good as the fixed trilogy and Hudson. Read them all to see how all the characters fit together.

Which character – as performed by Tanya Eby – was your favourite?

Gwen definitely and then JC.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When she went to the hospital and he had gone AGAIN ..............

Any additional comments?

The Fixed trilogy, then Hudson, then Free Me, then Find Me. In that order. You will love the story and how each book fits into the world of the SkyLaunch.

I want to like these books but...

The angst is created by having really, really insecure women who overthink everything. It’s so annoying.
Also, I’m over female narrators performing male voices. It takes me out of the moment. It’s usually quite unconvincing.

Insecure Babble for too Many Hours

My goodness, this series is full of insecure people but listening to Gwen go on and on with the ramblings in her head is enough to make you wonder when will the book get to something interesting: not until the last two hours. Skip this book! It could have been so much better if we could have focused on a stronger plot line rather than hear every insecure thought that popped into this girl’s head.

Does J C return after the trial

I loved the whole story but didn’t see the need to describe the sexual encounters in so much detail. The book would have been just as good without them. But I found myself falling in love with J C. I thought Gwen was a sweetheart but too high strung, she made me crazy sometimes.

All the feels and wow factor

The. book and storyline itself was not surprisingly awesome. The narrator's brought JD and Gwen's characters so alive and vital. Even when you felt as if Gwen pouted too much or held herself back more than you liked, JD would say something in his (Tanya Eby's) rich, sexy voice that would melt your insides. With difficulty surrounding them, true and abiding love shone through brightly, mostly by JD, but eventually by Gwen as well. This coue certainly survived an amazing number of attacks to the strength of their love and came away vicariously. Highly recommended to read and or listen to.

Boring and Predictable

Ugh this was too boring. What a waste. One book would have been better than two.

Horrible Scottish brogue.

I own over 500 audible books and have never written a review. The narration on this book is not acceptable. Story is good.

love the author, hated characters

The writing was really good, but I hated the characters, and the story development. not an enjoyable stress. turned me off on the author, even though the writing was really good.
