Summary

Confirmed bachelor Max Sterling isn't into rescuing damsels in distress, but when the very tempting Hailey Ellison needs his help, there's only one thing for him to do. Step in and pose as her loving fiancé. Except there is nothing fake about his attraction to her, or how much he wants her beneath him in his bed, moaning his name. But what starts as a sexy, flirty, temporary engagement quickly becomes something more serious than either one ever anticipated.

I'm loving this series

Although you don't need to listen to the first book, it is nice to see other characters coming back in this book.

I loved that this one was about a fuller figured woman and a man who loves her the way she is. Although starting on a rouse, their relationship progresses into more than that. It was sweet, dirty and adorable.

Sophie Eastlake does such a good job narrating. She is able to create a manly voice that isn't cheesy or corny. She is a star in the industry!

Not so Fake

Normally I get annoyed with the Fake relationship stories but this one wasn't so bad because from the start it seemed really sincere. Hailey is a matchmaker. She feels that her single status will make her business seem questionable. She then creates a fake fiancé story using Max, her realtor in the story. It hilariously blows up in her face. but surprisingly he carries on with the lie.

Again Fake relationships are a bit annoying and unoriginal but the chemistry between the two of them seemed believable. However, I think their concocted story of their engagement wasn't. Everything moved too fast for me. I also like the representation of a plus size woman and the heroine.

A good story in general.

Not fake to love this

Max and Hailey are a great fun couple. There is no faking loving this book. You easily fall in love with both of these characters and the relationship itself even though it is supposed to be a fake engagement you can see that the both are starting to have feelings for each other but will they admit it to each other. Plus you get to keep up with characters from the other book in this series. Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde has once again wrote a great read and can't wait for the next one in the series.

Cliche

I want the time I spent listening back. I kept thinking there would be an unexpected twist or turn to the plot. Nope. Save your credit for another story.
