Publisher's Summary

Hot on the heels of her beloved Marriage to a Billionaire novels, New York Times best-selling author Jennifer Probst nails it with the first in an all-new sexy romance series featuring red-hot contractor siblings who give the Property Brothers a run for their money!

Ever the responsible eldest brother, Caleb Pierce started working for his father's luxury contracting business at a young age, dreaming of one day sitting in the boss' chair. But his father's will throws a wrench in his plans by stipulating that Caleb share control of the family business with his two estranged brothers.

Things only get more complicated when demanding high-end home designer Morgan hires Caleb to build her a customized dream house that matches her specifications to a T - or she'll use her powerful connections to poison the Pierce brothers' reputation. Not one to ignore a challenge, Caleb vows to get the job done - if only he can stop getting distracted by his new client's perfect...amenities.

But there's more to icy Morgan than meets the eye. And Caleb's not the only one who knows how to use a stud finder. In fact Morgan is pretty sure she's found hers - and he looks quite enticing in a hard hat. As sparks fly between Morgan and Caleb despite his best intentions not to mix business and pleasure, will she finally warm up and help him lay the foundation for everlasting love?

    "perfect beach read"

What I really liked is that the "issues" (that every romance is destined to have) weren't mountains out of molehills but also weren't ridiculously dark. It's a light, airy, fun book and I look forward to the series. It's sexy hot too. Liking Property Brothers or any HGTV will help you like this story, but it's not necessary. I only wished I could have spent more time on the beach with it.

    "The performance was top notch!"

I was listening to the series out of order (don’t know why). I enjoyed the second book and I returned to pick up this one. When I read the reviews I was surprised by the comments about the female narrator, Madeleine Maby. At first I thought there must have been a different narrator for the second but that wasn’t the case. Then I thought perhaps Madeleine was off her game, because she was great in the second. Forewarned, I purchased and listened to the first book anyway. I quickly came to the conclusion that some of the reviews are ….nuts! This story isn’t as good as the first, IMO, but overall its entertaining and in large part it’s because of the efforts of Madeleine and Sebastian York who are wonderful together.

I’ve listened to stories that were ruined by the narrator but this isn’t one of them. This piling-on reminds me of a similar circumstance with Shayna Thibodeaux where again the narrator was subjected to heaps of unwarranted criticism.

    "Great story; odd performance"

Loved the story, but the performance was a little strange. Breaks between words didn't really make sense.

"Nice story - poor femenine narration"
What disappointed you about Everywhere and Every Way?

I select books for the story but also for the voice. The story is light and entertaining, which fulfils the objective for me. But the feminine narration, the first time I hear it, is poor, she finishes all the sentences with a high tone that gives the impression of having all questions and lack of conviction. There is some correction in the middle of the book, but she keep doing it until the end. I would have rather read it than listened to it.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

    Expected.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Madeleine Maby and Sebastian York ?

Sebastian York was good.<br/>Madeleine Maby has a nice voice but has to work on the rhythm and narration, it gets tiring hearing her end all the sentences in a high tone, like a half question.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Story is light and has a continuation. I will check whether I buy the book or the audible version.

Oh I totally love Sebastian York and Madeleine Maby. No one is perfect and the story really captured it. I laughed out loud.

    "Everywhere"

I like the story. I like the characters the depth and where the stories could go. The only thing I didn't like was the way the story was read The spacing the timing of the words was slow people don't talk with pauses in between words. I just thought it could have possibly done a little faster in the delivery and sometimes it annoyed me when there were extra pauses in between the spacing of the words.

    "Listen to the sample first!"
Would you try another book from Jennifer Probst and/or Madeleine Maby and Sebastian York ?

Possibly from Jennifer Probst, but not the narrators.

Would you recommend Everywhere and Every Way to your friends? Why or why not?

    Not the audio version.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

I really struggled with the narrators unfortunately. It sounded like the female had like a gumball in her mouth while she spoke, and it took awhile to move past that. And the way she does the male voice was really strange and too slow. The male voice wasn't the best either, but he was easier to get used to. I'm not usually one to write negative reviews, but I really struggled with this one. I know others love their voices, so I recommend sampling it before purchasing. Unfortunately, there is a lot of power in the narration because it can definitely take away from the story line of the book itself.

"Great story but horrible female narrator"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend they read the book but not listen to it.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked that Morgan was strong, intelligent, focused on personal success rather than fame or income, and she had experienced a legitimate struggle that many could relate to rather than a far fetched ridiculous issue.

Have you listened to any of Madeleine Maby and Sebastian York ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to many Sebastian York narrations and his voice is amazing. He reads with great infliction and even when he plays the female voice it feels seamless. I look forward to more from him.

Normally I do not give bad reviews but I feel as though something needs to be done to help Madeleine Maby stop ruining books. If it weren't for York's performance I would have returned the audiobook and downloaded the kindle version instead. Her reading voice is awful. She pauses at odd parts, goes up and down with her tone at inappropriate times, and when reading for male characters she makes them sound intellectually disabled. It gives me physical pain to listen to her at times and takes the focus from the story to my annoyance at her horrible interpretation of the characters in the story.

    Any additional comments?

Please replace Maby for future narrations. Or have her work on her craft. Perhaps this was her first gig?

Enjoyed this book. Can't wait to listen o the next one. Only wish Caleb was not wearing cutoff jeans is some of the scenes. Definitely made book appear to be from another time era and not the 21st century.
