New Orleans belongs to me. You don't know my name, but I control everything you see - and all the things you don't. My reach knows no bounds, and my demands are always met. I didn't need to loan money to a failing family distillery, but it amuses me to have them in my debt. To have her in my debt. She doesn't know she caught my attention. She should've been more careful. I'm going to own her. Consume her. Maybe even keep her. It's time to collect what I'm owed.
The first time I met Caine West was in a bar. He noticed me looking his way and mistakenly read my scowling as checking him out. When he attempted to talk to me, I set him straight -- telling him what I thought of his lying, cheating, egomaniacal ass. You see, the gorgeous jerk had wined and dined my best friend-smooth talking her into his bed, all along failing to mention that he was married. He deserved every bit of my tongue-lashing and more for what he'd done.
A new standalone novel from #1 New York Times bestselling author, Vi Keeland. The night I met Drew Jagger, he'd just broken into my new Park Avenue office. I dialed 9-1-1 before proceeding to attack him with my fancy new Krav Maga skills. He quickly restrained me, then chuckled, finding my attempted assault amusing. Of course, my intruder had to be arrogant. Only, turned out, he wasn't an intruder at all. Drew was the rightful occupant of my new office. He'd been on vacation while his posh space was renovated.
Grant Malone is not the reason I moved back to Sunnyville - at least that’s what I tell myself. Yet, those parting words I said to him back in third grade ring in my ears every time a towns-person brings up one of the Malone boys. I thought time had healed my wounds. I was wrong. Nothing could have prepared me for how I felt when I finally saw him again. Twenty years does a lot to turn a boy into a man. One who hits all my buttons - sexy, funny, attractive, and a police officer.
Jake McKallister might have been a rock star, but he was no ordinary one. Surviving an unspeakable crime as a young teen had shaped him into a guarded workaholic, and he now lived his life trying to forget. If it hadn't been for music and the redemption he found through it, he might not have survived. Career success came easily for him. Personal connections did not.
Growing up, the three of us were friends. He was the nerd. I was the playboy. She was the beauty. Deep down, I only ever wanted her. I kept it inside because Rory and I made a pact that our friend, Amber, was off-limits. He lied. I went off to college, and he got the girl. Amber never knew how I felt. They were together for years - before he broke her heart. Through it all and across the miles, she and I casually stayed in touch. When my job sent me to Boston for a three-month contract position, Amber let me stay in her spare room.

He’s my best friend’s older brother, off limits and incredibly tempting. I shouldn’t peak into Brendon’s sketchbook, even if the tattoo artist is as brooding and stoic as the day is long. I can’t help myself. I peel it open, run my fingers along the paper, soak up every ounce of him. His drawings are as beautiful and bold as his dark eyes and his cocky smile. Only, there, on the third page--that’s no tattoo mockup. That’s me. Naked. Ready. Waiting in his bed.
Every girl has dreams of meeting Prince Charming, or at least I know I did. A fairy-tale-like meeting of love at first sight. Real life and fairy tales are very different. I met Bianca in an elevator. She was on her way to interview me when we got stuck. The beautiful raven-haired reporter assumed I was a delivery guy because of the way I was dressed. She had no clue I was really Dex Truitt, the wealthy, successful businessman she'd dubbed "Mister Moneybags" - her afternoon appointment. Bianca told me how much she hated Dex's type - snobby, over-educated, silver-spooned men who didn't appreciate the simple things in life.
I stole her in the night. Caged her because I can't live without her. She's my love, my addiction, my obsession. I will do anything to keep Sara mine.
Jackson "The Beast" Boudreaux is rich, gorgeous, and unbelievably rude to the staff at Chef Bianca Hardwick's New Orleans restaurant. Then Jackson makes another outrageous request: Marry me. The unconventional offer includes an enormous sum - money Bianca desperately needs, even if it does come with a contract - and a stunning ring.

Anna Kirby is sick of dating. She's tired of heartbreak. Despite being smart, sexy, and funny, she's a magnet for men who don't deserve her. For six generations, the women of wine country have had a saying: don’t bang a Hunter man unless you want a bun in your oven. Yeah, well. I’ve got a saying too: no thanks. The last thing I need is baby makes three. My business is expanding, and the only thing I’m interested in getting knocked up is my bottom line. But then one night, Emma Haverford makes me an offer I can’t refuse - she backs away from the land I have my eye on in exchange for a favor...a big, fat, baby-making favor....
I do what I want and who I want. I don't follow anyone's rules-even my own. I knew I shouldn't touch her, but it didn't stop me. Didn't stop me the second time either. Only made me want a third. My lifestyle suits the savage I am, and she doesn't. But Temperance Ransom is my newest addiction, and I'm nowhere near ready to quit her yet. I'll have her my way, even if it means dragging her into the darkness. Hopefully it doesn't kill us both.
I'm writing this letter because it's highly doubtful I'll ever garner the courage to say this to your face. So, here goes. We're totally wrong for each other. You're the proper single mum with a good head on your shoulders. I'm just the carefree British doctor passing through town and temporarily living in your converted garage until I head back to England. But here's the thing... for some bloody reason, I can't stop thinking about you in very inappropriate ways.
Ruby Scott is months behind on rent and can't seem to land a steady job. She has one chance to turn things around with a big audition. All thanks to a mysterious, gorgeous guy who kissed - and then coughed on - her at a party the night before.
USA Today best-selling author Alexa Riley's first full-length novel shows just what happens when a strong, possessive man finds the woman of his dreams.
I'll never forget the way she looked, so confident and sure of herself. I watched her from a distance. She wasn't ready for me yet. I didn't approach her, and I didn't disturb her, but I never once took my eyes off her.
Mallory Sullivan is ready to start her new life. After graduating at the top of her class, she's landed one of the most coveted internships in the United States. Hard work and determination have gotten her to this moment of living the life she only dreamed of while growing up in foster care.
From the start I knew that she would be my greatest achievement, so the day I let her go, I set down a path for her. A path to me.
She never expected Oz to be the greatest culmination of those dreams. But sometimes fate determines who you fall in love with. Who makes you lose control. Who owns your soul.
And then you realize it wasn't fate at all.
I've wanted to care for and protect her since the first moment I saw her. I've constructed everything in our lives so that at the perfect moment, I could have her, could give her the life she deserves.
The time has come.
Any additional comments?
It's not a bad listen it just to Tyler Perry perfect for me. I love a rich man falling for poor girl but this was a bit stalker like for me. I can't give it a bad rating because the narration is good and the story enjoyable it's just the it's sooooo perfect. He is soooo perfect it's annoying . I'm sure you will enjoy it but by the end you will have a touch of diabetes.

Can't finish it. Too drawn out. Oz seems to possessive & stalkerish. I don't like him from the beginning. They "fall in love" way too fast & unrealistic.

This book wasn't as good as others I read. The female lead character was to much of a push over. The lead male character, to me was super creepy falling for a teenager and inserting himself into every aspect of her life for 5 yrs . setting up her life so that she leads straight to him, and she simply accepted it and everything he did with hardly a question, made her seem weak. it made the whole story drag on and on. I won't be listening to the next book.

I have fallen in love with this story. I keep hitting replay at the end of the story. This is the best HEA ever!!!!!!
I am so excited there is going to be a second book, even though there is no way this book will dwindle in it's perfectness!!!
the only way this could be better is to have 'Jay Crow' read ALL of the OZ parts... and 'Summer Morton' read ALL the Mallory parts.

OMG, this book was laughable. I’m sorry but it was horribly unbelievable. The main characters just meet, there are all kinds of hints and red “stalker” flags, yet it was a surprise when it all comes to light that something is wrong with this guy, (and the way it is written you can’t chalk it up to innocence because of the obvious signs, only someone, who’s deaf, dumb, and blind (yes, all three, and while I’m at it, I’m going to throw in brain dead too) and wouldn’t be running from this him within 24 hours of meeting him. To make matter worsts, the way she finds out about the secret is ridiculous (you know a man for one week and think it’s ok to listen to his voice mail, really, who does that). Oh and let’s not forget, she meets the mother for the first time and within 10 mins of meeting her, the mother confesses to all types of personal family secrets (that would normally take several years of therapy for anyone else to even feel comfortable enough to talk about it)? Give me a break, it’s just all too farfetched. I love a quick romance, “I’ve been waiting for you all my life” book as much as anyone else, but most of them are written so well that one would believe it plausible, but this…….. The narrators do a great job of trying to make the story likable but it was so fake, all that is left was to have strings dangling from the characters (like those old fashioned space monsters/aliens movies, you know, the ones where you can see the alien’s sneakers once the camera zooms out). I rolled my eyes so much, I'm surprise they didn't simply roll out of my head. OK, seriously though, all in all, I think it has potential but the author needs to work on the presentation, maybe with a little more work it can be a real winner, this version is simply inconceivable (even the vampire and werewolf books are more believable).

I strongly recommend this book, it is a great love story. Yes the male character is possessive and stalker-ish. Some of the things he does are a little on the creepy side but everything he's doing is coming from the heart. he wants Mallory's life to be as perfect as he can make it, he doesn't always go about things in the right way but his intentions are good. I know there is a lot of negative comments that he is a creepy stalker but if you actually finish the whole book you will fall in love with it. The beginning of the book has you thinking that Myles is a crazy stalker and honestly he does have a touch of it but the book is definitely worth reading...... come on ladies you know if there was a handsome rich man professing his love to you sweeping you off your feet you would not resist, most women would love nothing more than to have a man love them unconditionally even if he is a little possessive. The ending was so sweet, it shows how they literally lived happily ever after into their retirement years and how he treated her like a queen for the entire span of their marriage and relationship.... my only negative comment would be that there was so much told from the female character's point of view, I wish that we could have seen a little bit more from the male character's perspective although he did have a few chapters throughout the book. Also great narration by these narrators. I will definitely be reading book 2, can't wait to see what happens with Paige and Captain!
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
Nothing since the plot was of a man controlling the fate of a girl for the purpose of marrying her in the future. The man is so obsessed to the point of utter creepiness. He was a predator and should have been arrested.
What could Alexa Riley have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Change the plot
What about Summer Morton and Jay Crow ’s performance did you like?
They were believable.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Everything for Her?
I wouldn’t have published it.
Love this romance story! A story of obsession and love for the ages!
Looking forward to reading book 2!
I loved this story. The story line was attention keeping and the narrators chosen were perfect for Miles and Mallory. This story is spicy so if your listening at work or around children you will need headphones 🔥🔥🔥.
Hmm, when I read the blurb for this book, I automatically thought this would be a story for me.
Now technically that would still hold true, but the dark tinge I was looking for really was not there.
The " stalker " Oz aka Liam has to be one of the nicest stalkers I have ever read about!
While Melody- the girl who is supposed to be intelligent, lets this man lead her around- knowing its all weird, and odd things are happening all within a weeks time.. but she " cannot help herself".
I am all for fictional love stories that go beyond reality, in fact, I love them! This one just seemed so far-fetched and frustrating to me in spots I fumed through most of the audio!
Melody needed a " reality check" for someone so intelligent! IMO of course!
While I had some qualms about the characters personas and the way the storyline was going, I kept on listening I was curious to see if it picked up any with a dark tinge, or she got a backbone..
I was glad to hear that it did! Excellent HEA and extended epilogues!
If you're looking for a sweet stalker read with a woman who needs to be chased, this is definitely the audiobook for you!
