Well acted and surprising
Very enjoyable tale - didn’t understand absolutely everything but it was a heartwarming tale about finding where you belong in life.
One reviewer said there was too much music and I thought he was just being grumpy. It was really charming at first, but then it got ridiculous!

Un bonheur
Pour tous ceux qui ont besoin d'une histoire qui les fera rire et pleurer et qui, surtout, leur fera du bien...
J'ai lu et relu ce livre à maintes reprises et n'ai pas été déçue par cette magnifique interprétation qui vous apporte des acteurs pleins de vie et des interludes musicales.

Ruined by musical interludes
I bought this to practice my French. The story was ok (sweet and light) and the delivery of the actors was excellent. Sadly, the whole book was ruined by the musical interludes, which left me wondering how much they'd paid a jingle writer to come up with the insipid, irritating ditty.
I wouldn't have minded were the music just used to bookmark each part, or even chapter, but, as the audiobook went on, it became so frequent that sometimes there was only a single paragraph of text between each interlude, which could last anything from twenty seconds to two or three minutes. In fact, the last ten minutes of the book was just music.

Chouette roman mais trop de musique
Histoire sympa aux personnages attachants. Interprétations de chaque personnage très juste. Mais un nombre excessif d’interludes musicaux entre les chapitres. Certains durent plus d’une minute. Au total sur les 15h d’enregistrement il doit y avoir plus d’une heure de la même mélodie. Cela ralentit trop le rythme. Dommage.

Belle histoire
Les personnages sont attachants est les acteurs vraiment formidables. Seul bémol .... Cest la musique à la fin et au début de chaque chapitre. Jolie ritournelle mais trop longue.

Un navet
L’histoire est totalement dénuée d’intérêt et d’une navrante platitude.
Les acteurs sont mièvres et trop caricaturaux, sauf peut-être Paulette qui est adorable.
La musique est horripilante et il y en a de trop.
A éviter.
