Summary
One thing unites the wealthy Farthing family and hardworking Dilly Carey - Olivia, the daughter Dilly gave to the Farthings years before.
Dilly is still living with the consequences when unmarried Olivia arrives on her doorstep, with a baby girl in tow, begging for help.
Olivia has a secret she only feels safe telling Dilly. Sworn to secrecy, Dilly agrees to help. She will find a way for Olivia to keep her daughter without revealing the true circumstances of her birth.

A really wonderful book
Once again I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the narrator was brilliant. I’m hoping there is going to be a follow up.

Story fairly good, narration again poor
These books are good and I had hoped that after the first one the narration of the books would get better, but if possible, this narration is worse than the first.
I am sure the narrator has other great qualities but narration is not one of them.
There is so much emphasis in the wrong place, some parts are shouted for no reason and just the way it is read is poor.
There are a few issues with the stories - there are so many clichés and sayings throughout that it is almost as if the author has tried to see how many she can get in one book!
There is also a lot of repetition and the story of the book could have been told in half the time.
It is not until chapter 37 that the “blurb on the back” is actually introduced into the book.
I don’t know if I can make it to the third and last book
