Publisher's Summary

Remy Morgan, a young girl born and raised in the heart of the ghetto, gets caught up in the life when she meets a drug lord who offers her the world. Young and naive, she is trapped in a game of lies, deception, and greed and learns the hard way that everything that glitters ain't gold. After her love is slain, Remy is forced back into the life that she desperately tried to forget.

Remy has kept a diary of her life for the past two years. What she writes inside is a tale of love, passion, money, and secrecy - and ultimately a witness to her tragic end.

Ashley and JaQuavis take you into the world of Remy Morgan, and not until after her death is the truth revealed. You think you know, but you have no idea.

    "very good story line."

A good read. With all the twist and turns. The loyalty to someone who seems like he didn't care. I love it. Even the end was a shocker.

    Story
    "Great Book!! Classic A&J style!!!"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I already have! This is classic A&J. Twists and turns every where! Was it a bit predictable at times...yes. Did Remy get on my nerves being so stupid, it was laughable...yes. But the trade off is the path where her stupidity leads her, which is what makes the book interesting. I couldnt stop listening until I finished! It was great! I literally freaked out at the ending lol. I was at work and had to into a break room for the last 15 mins of the book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Diary of a Street Diva?

    Everything involving Khadafi!!

Which character – as performed by Honey Jones – was your favorite?

Remy. Although I had to speed her up a bit to make it bearable. Honey Jones is not my fav narrator. She is really hit or miss, but she hit this one!

Who was the most memorable character of Diary of a Street Diva and why?

Remy! She was young and dumb. She got herself and the people she loved in situations that could've been avoided with common sense. BUT if she had, then the story would not have been so great! I really enjoyed this book lol

    Any additional comments?

Its great!! I always stalk the comments, and I was almost turned away bc ppl were saying its predicatble. I mean...after you read so many of these books they do become predictable. But most of the twists still caught me off guard and had my jaw on the floor! Give them your credit, buckle up, and enjoy the book for what it is....just speed Honey up a bit too
