Summary

Elise Kavanagh has exorcised demons, slain gods, and come back from the dead. And she's done it all with the help of James Faulkner: a powerful witch, and the only person Elise has ever loved or trusted.

But now the worst has happened. The Treaty protecting humanity from war between angels and demons has fallen. Elise has been taken by her greatest enemy. And James may be responsible for all of it....

Not as good as the rest

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

A waste of time.
If you are following a series you hope each book advances the series forward, this one did not. There is just no need for it to exist.

What could SM Reine have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

The rest of the decent series is from the point of Elise, This is from the Point of James. The writer had a winning formula and should have staid with it.

Could you see Defying Fate being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

The series, yes, The book, no
