Summary

When Kian confesses his true nature, Syssi is not as much shocked by the revelation as she is wounded by what she perceives as his callous plans for her. Not as interesting as the first book

Ok so the first book intrigued me enough for me to purchase the second. The second lacked much in the way of big events but I decided to give the third one a go because I still like the overall idea. However, I’ve not been as drawn in by the third one either. At only 7 hours long I wonder if some of these books would’ve been better combined together to make less books that are longer with more happening in them. I don’t think I will be continuing with the series because for a 7 hour audiobook with not much happening I can’t justify the price. It’s definitely not terrible, the narrator is fine not exceptional but perfectly fine to listen to and the story isn’t bad, the idea itself is great. Unfortunately the whole thing is just a bit mediocre.
