Incredibly detailed
I bought this audiobook after watching the movie and was pleased to find a lot of extra details which had been removed or changed for the film.
Though the story was enjoyable, at times it did become a little bit confusing as there is a lot of names and places to process as if you already know of them.
The reader as a narrator was enjoyable enough, and fairly good at the various accents for different characters,
however the pronunciation of French words were awful!

Definitely worth listening
I am glad I got this audiobook as it was fun to listen. Story well done with interesting characters and it was difficult to guess what will happen next. Narration very well done with feeling of authenticity.

Hilarious
Hilarious book exploring the typical Asian cliches. I like the narration by Lynn Chen as she keeps the audience excited about what would happen next. However sometimes I feel that she’s trying too hard with the different English accents and the pronounciations for Hokkien/Malay terms could be improved.

Never has a narrator worked harder
What made the experience of listening to Crazy Rich Asians the most enjoyable?
The narrator is just amazing, she does so many accents, keeps up with the various characters and even sings at one point!

Crazy!
Money, money, money and even more money. This story, centred around three obscenely rich Singaporean families, is decadent, outrageous, indulgent and in places cringe-worthy. While the middle of the story seemed to fall into a bit of a lull, the start and finish were highly entertaining, chronicling the privilege and constraints of all that cash.

WONDERFFUL and ENTERTAINING ...
this is the first part of 3 books and it is well written - highly entertaining and gives a great insight into the asian world!

Even if you've seen the film, read the book
The book is as expected a lot more developed than the film. I loved the film but I loved the book even more, the characters are well rounded and the narration really adds to the story. I've already downloaded book 2.

Well Written
I had no expectations about this book and I can say that I am not disappointed at all.
The fluidity that Kevin Kwan employs in constructing this feat of major proportions is superb. The characters are so visceral and emotional. It's an exposè.
The narrator makes the book come alive. I experienced a gamut of emotions whilst listening. It was fast paced work of literature. The Asian lifestyle of the those who have delusions of grandeur juxtaposed with those they consider outsiders is jarring.
I will go forth and watch the movie soon. The book is always better than the movie.
This book is well written.

amazing accents and story!
I loved this book and hope there are more like it. I also love the accents the reader made for each of the characters. Astrid is amazing and so is nick. I wish I can be more like him when I'm rich
