Publisher's Summary

I'll do anything to save her.

A woman I've never met, whose name I don't even know, gambled her own life to protect my child. In return, she was taken by a madman.

I'll put my career, my security, and my life on the line to get her back, even if it means facing the truth about my own mistakes.

The only thing she can't trust me with...is her heart.

    "Good action story"
What did you like best about this story?

I really loved how the story was centred round the rescue of the hostages on board the ferry. It reminded me of Hollywood action movies. I would have been happy for the novel to end shortly after the conclusion of the hostage situation but it switched direction and went down hill from here on out for me; with chapter upon chapter of sex, which I thought were unnecessary and could have been shortened or left out completely The hospital scene was particularly ridiculous.

What about Stephen Dexter and Susan Fouche ’s performance did you like?

I liked the dual narration. I liked the narration better when I played the book on a higher speed setting.

    Any additional comments?

I enjoyed this book for it's action and suspense but not the romance.

    "Great Story"

I loved the book. It flowed well. I think the narrators did a good job. I enjoyed it. My son heard some of it while I was reviewing it and he goes mom that is the cleanest book you've listened to in a long time. He was impressed that there was a long time between sexy scenes as he calls them.

    "Great read!!!"
What did you love best about Anchor?

I loved how strong all of the characters were. There wasn't a weakling in the whole bunch.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Gabriel is my favorite character. He's strong, determined and he'll do anything for his daughter.

Which character – as performed by Stephen Dexter and Susan Fouche – was your favorite?

I loved all of the characters, but Gabriel was my favorite.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. I would've been able to listen in one sitting if I didn't have to work.

Yes, I am writing this after listening to all three books. It keeps your attention and the stories are enthrawling.

The hero and heroine are my favorite characters.

Have you listened to any of Stephen Dexter and Susan Fouche ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Nope this one was the first time.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

    "Anchor"

This was a fun story & the narrators did a great job with it, especially Susan Fouche. She really portrayed the excitement of the action well. I also liked the epilogue a lot.

    "Amazing! You must read ANCHOR!"

First let me say this is book one but it is a standalone story. If you like action packed, sit at the edge of your seat stories, then this is for you. There is of course the hot guy meets gorgeous woman sexy story behind the action.
I loved this book. I will definitely read more books by this author.

    "Overall just okay"

I just couldn't get into this audiobook. The story seemed to spend so much time on the actual rescue and seemed to be dragged out too long, while there is very little about their relationship afterwards. The narration was good. I just wish there had been more emphasis on the characters after the kid napping.

Would you listen to Anchor again? Why?

As I read the ebook first I was curious how the audio book would hold up and I was just as impressed. I would definitely listen to Anchor again because the writing was so lyrical that the narrators just glided over the words effortlessly.

What did you like best about this story?

The two narrators offered a great change of pace and a way to really get into each of the main characters heads.

Have you listened to any of Stephen Dexter and Susan Fouche ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No I haven't but after listening to Anchor I'm likely to look for their work in the future.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The suspense of the story was so well narrated by both actors that the whole book kept me on my toes.

    Any additional comments?

I can't wait to listen to more!

"Another great one by Nicole Blanchard"

I absolutely love this story. Gabe & Chloe are both such strong & genuine characters. I read the book last year, but to be able to hear it & listen to the turmoil in their voices during the crazy scenes, well you don't want to miss it!
