Summary

It was insupportable! Just because she couldn't prove her father had died in Africa and so couldn't claim her inheritance, was no reason to put her virtue at risk from her employer's nephew! But due to a series of mishaps making her escape, Miss Corisande Clifford found herself walking to Bath, only to be nearly mown down by Marc, the wild Marquis of Dene! His conscience smitten, Marc arranged for his widowed sister Fanny to take Corisande to London - but that put the bright sunny girl within his orbit. A mistake, when his father has already chosen Marc's bride...

Mildly Entertaining

The story was moderately entertaining, but I wouldn't buy it again. The narrator makes Miss Corisande Clifford too winey for my taste and the story is a bit frustrating and moves at a snail's pace. There were a few stolen kisses, but no sex and nothing past first base. Big WOMP! 2 Stars and 0 chilis for hotness...

So Sweet Romance

It's a wonderful, full of adventure, and utterly sweet romance all in one audiobook. The heroine is so adorable and full of wit. That's what makes this story captivating me. The narrator is also at her best. Gail Mallin is absolutely my new favorite.
