Scott's daydreaming along, living his life ticking all the right boxes, up for promotion, nice house, loves his car etc.. when his crazy bunch of co-dependent friends stage an intervention. His Fiancee Victoria? is basically a Hellcat they can't stand and they don't want to see him stay on this course to wake up in a decade miserable. Now he's finally been forced awake to take stock of his situation he realizes the only time he was ever truly happy was with friend Gabby... who is casually dating the business partner of a mutual friend; Brock. Timing has never been right for the two of them ever since their secret hookup 8 years ago and he's decided enough is enough.... Scott knows what his future looks like and it smiles like his best friend. Ivy Wilder does an amazing vocal performance as Gabby tries to convince herself that she doesn't want to be his rebound girl, leading Scott to plan a weekend away with his friends... 42 hours to make her see everything that could be between them before she gives her heart to someone else. during the organised weekend at a lakehouse he pulls out all his best moves to lure her in. She is has been harboring feelings for him since high school which he didn't know, making the risk of opening herself up that way all the more daunting.

As much as I loved the story, I did feel that things only began getting interesting when Brock discovered the pair and I was much more invested in HIS relationship with Gabby than the underhanded tactics of Scott to get the girl he wanted but who was already taken.
