Very nice intro book to feng shui.

Very nice intro book to feng shui. The author takes a more practical, less superstitious approach to feng shui, relating it more to how certain environments make the human animal feel rather than relying on "lucky this" or "unlucky that" to stake a claim

good book

I totally needed this book! It is a wonderful inspirational read/look over before preparing a drawing for a client. If you need beginning help, or if you are an experienced renderer, it is great to have as a resource to make sure you have added that final 'touch' that makes it perfect!

five stars

I was looking for a book that would show me how to render city backgrounds. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! It gives alot of techniques and goes into detail how each tool is used to bring the drawing to life. It shows alcohol markers, color pencils, and photoshop techniques. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you're trying to learn how to integrate and blend the layers to make your work look stunning

extremely good

This book is excellent for architects, designers and anyone who wants to add color to their drawings. Urban sketchers would get a lot of good advice from this book. This book actually tells you how to do stuff, it doesn't just show you pictures. How to render materials, people, light. How to use color to get a drawing to be an effective form of communication. Too much to mention here but a real "How To" book. A reference you can pick up and use for specific problems. Not a book you will buy, look through and set aside. You will have this nearby and within reach. Can't recommend enough.

I recently purchased it

I recently purchased this book for an architecture class and boy has been helpful. There is a wealth of knowledge between these pages. Architectural color rendering is broken down in a step-by-step process that is easy to follow and understand

admired a lot

I am an Interior Design major and my professor recommended this book for the use of Prismacolor markers. It gives you great advice on how to render (coloring using the Prismacolor markers to show colors and shadows) and different techniques so you can get the effect you want

good insights

I'm thrilled that I finally have a book that tells how to digitally as well as manually color architectural and landscape drawings. It gives tips on using a scanner to get drawings or photographs into a layer of Photoshop and then how to manipulate the layers including opacity and filters. The technics for using markers and colored pencils to achieve realistic wood, rocks, leaves, water, and chrome are outstanding........
