About this listen

The key to our fate is deception.

Gemini Foley.
The most cunning of our children.
A servant and devoted worshiper of trickery—and himself.
He revels in the illusion, always hungry for lies told in secrecy.
He will snatch the truth right out of any poor soul’s lungs.
It’s a gift we have given him, and he uses it magnificently.
But a new epoch is now upon us, and it is time for one more gift.
A surprise, for the lover of tricks.
She will appear as his sacrifice during the Feast of Fools.
And it will be his fate not to kill her.
Cunning just as we claim, will he sense something in her?
Sense a blinding truth he cannot yet put into words.
He will allow her to slip away …
Until time and fate are just right.
Before catching her once again.
This time, to keep her as his prize.

*Feast of Fools is a captor/captive dark romance with a hint of paranormal. It’s the second book in the Perverse City series and has a guaranteed HEA. While all books are standalones, the series must be listened to in order. It has mature situations and themes which may be considered triggers for some. Listener discretion is advised.*

This was one of those fantasy books where you have no clue what is going on but you're hooked and need to know everything. Also, make sure to read the first book first because the world is introduced there first and you'll need to know some information prior to starting this one.

I enjoyed the book, and be sure to read through the TW and CW, and don't expect for our characters to be good in the end, they are not, and i loved it about them. Honestly Gemini was morally black and he stayed as such. and it was also interesting seeing how our FMC turned from "good" to morally grey as well!

Now let's talk narration. Alyssa and Nick did awesome, and I was engrossed in the story because of them for sure!
