Summary

Take one last ride with Keiran and Lake and the rest of the Broken Love gang in this fifth and final installment as they face stronger enemies and bigger obstacles while fighting to hold tight to the tattered existence of their love.

When faced with broken love....

Have you ever had the feeling you were a stranger?

Out of reach, I watched and mourned me.

Nothing moved. Breathed. Nothing lived.

I was in an alternate universe.

No longer an innocent.

I had blood on my hands, and I wasn't even sorry for it.

I was only afraid for Keiran.

Of his reaction when the shock wore off.

It would be an explosion.

Of hurt, anger, and mistrust.

He'd know I lied.

And to him....

The betrayal born of my good intentions is worse than the act of murder.

...will you succumb to fear....

She was supposed to be my light.

The one who saved me from the monster.

But when I looked in her eyes that day, I didn't see her.

I only saw my father's killer.

Her love saved me from the monster.

Mine turned her into one.

...or will you be fearless?

5 "CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THIS SERIES" STARS

This review is for all 5 books in this awesome series. B. B. Reid did a fantastic job sucking me into this series and not letting go until I finished all 5 books back to back. I hate for this series to end but everything is wrapped up very nicely in Book 5. There was some hot sex scenes. The story just keep getting interesting as it goes on. If you like dark read with crazy, possessive alpha males then this series is for you.

WOW...Incredible Wrap Up

Finally all your questions answered. Kieran and Lake were the main focus, but it kept everyone involved and I loved that. I also loved how the epilogue went years into the future and updated you on everyone and their families. The only part I did not love was the very end of the epilogue. It leaves you guessing about Q and possibly Di and Jesse and if there is another book pending, maybe a standalone, that will loop you into their own epilogue or after story. I was in the car when I came to the end and I couldn't wait to get home and see if there is another book I missed or coming. Sadly, I could not find anything but I hope there is a book coming that will tell us a little more about them and how their lives ended up. As far as wrapping up Kieran and Lake, Keenan and Sheldon and Dash and Willow...it was perfect.

I can't tell you how disturbing this series is!!!!

This series is about some seriously spineless women who allow themselves to be harrassed, raped and degraded and instead of growing a spine and fighting, they want it. I'm all about a little kinky in the bedroom but this is high school age girls into adult hood b4 they grow a pair. The only way I was able to get through this besides the fast forward button, was each book the girls got a little bolder until this one where they could stand on their own!!!

No Difference

I enjoyed the first 2 books. I began to see patterns in book 3. After reading book 4 and this book I have concluded that all the characters are variations of one character. All the main female characters (Lake, Sheldon, Willow) behaved the same way throughout each of their stories. They reacted too similar and even said some of the same quotes. The men (Keeran, Kennan, Dash) were all possessive, unempathetic, bi-polar and narcissistic. They too all reacted the same and talked the same way 75% of the time with the women. I can handle one extreme character needing redemption but three facets of the same character was too much. I only gave two stars because I enjoyed reading about their futures in the epilogue.

DNF

I really couldn't get past the first 4 chapters, Lake's stupidity was just killing me!!

The books are frankly too long, the first book at least has a decent story but it really does go on too long and flashback storytelling is overwhelming. Kieran grows and becomes better like Lake wants but she just doesn't seem to give him credit. Lake wants to show Kieran she is strong but really she is stupid and mouthy. I don't know how having the ability be snarky, sarcastic and bitchy translate to strength, but that seems to be how the author has made Lake strong.

My goodness I thought Lake was dumb in the first book, but man did she get dumber as she got older.

Ridiculous fantasy

None of this book made any sense. The series was weak with abusive men and weak females then when Lake grows a backbone she apparently lost 50 IQ points. There were soooo many points where I couldn’t help but think how easily disputed the legal claims would be or how easily the characters could get out of the issue. If you are as intelligent as a 4th grader with a passion for rape then this series is for you!

Teddy is now my fav

Teddy Hamilton has increasingly grown to become one of my top favorite narrators. A few that I have read that were a little mediocre have risen to 4 star status just because I enjoyed the audio version so much more.

That’s not the case for BB. Her talent to write sass and humor in brooding alphas just makes for a match made in heaven! I cannot wait for the next generation series. The Broken Love series is one of my top favorite bully romances, I’m sad that it is now over!

Kieran Masters WOW!

I loved everything about this series from book one to book five. I wish there was more but I don’t know how you’d go beyond this book, I guess with Dianna and Q? But the Master boys and Kieran in particular I loved best. The first book was a little disturbing but only because I had to keep reminding myself this series started with them in HS and the intensity of it was troubling BUT that didn’t take away from what great writing this was. Although I got these through Audible Escape I will be adding these permanently to my library. Good writing BB Reid
