Summary

He gave me my first chance at love. But he gave me my first chance to fly.

Blake’s the only reason I would ever come back to my sleepy hometown in the Montana mountains. I’ve loved him for years, and all I want is a chance to get him to love me back.

Now, my only chance seems to have been burnt away by the weird changes that are happening to my body. And I don’t mean, like, “everybody goes through this” puberty weird. I mean “I’ve got talons growing out of my hands” weird.

Suddenly, I’m a freak. All I want to do is crawl into the woods and die.

Until I meet the leader of the Flamethrowers. They’re a motorcycle club with a special secret, and they might actually know what’s happening to me, and how to control it.

Plus, their leader is impossible to resist.

When Blake catches up to me, will I be able to make a choice? Or will my fears make it for me?

Excellent Narration!

Fear of Dragon's Fire is a wonderfully written fantasy romance. The world-building was fascinating, and the storyline totally entertaining. I absolutely enjoyed the blending of MC with dragon shifters. I was drawn in from the start through the end. The characters were diverse, vibrant, and delightful.

Excellent narration by Jonathan Waters. He emulated the characters perfectly, bringing them to life. Fear of Dragon's Fire was an enjoyable listen, one I'll recommend.

Enjoyable

The story was enjoyable although the narration was a bit iffy not sure if it was caused through bad editing.

Great Story

I was given this free review copy audio-book at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Great short story about a women who didn't know she was a shifter and choosing between two men, one is the leader of an MC and also a shifter and the other is her best friend and human. Narrator Jonathan Waters does a great job with the characters and story.

Not enough story!💜

***May be spoilers***

IMO there’s not enough storyline for a shifter romance especially considering the only sexual encounters aren’t even with the HEA character. Also, Other than the fact that there’s a mention of motorcycles there’s not much regarding a MC or MC activities. Perhaps it’s because the story is so short but I would think we could just call this one a PNR.
Jonathan Waters is one of my all time favorite narrators however, this wasn’t one of my favorites. The narration is good but there were a few editing issues which is extremely rare in his more recent work. If you’re looking for a quick release you may want to check this out. This story did not work for me.

Interesting take on a shifter romance

This book left me feeling confused… I felt like the was so much that could have been expounded on and filled in and at the same time it had all of the qualities to be, potentially, a wonderful book or even series. This author was new to me. Overall the book was enjoyable.

I loved the narrators voice! however, I do wish that there was more of a difference between male and female characters as it was difficult at times to figure out which character was speaking.

As an aside there were a few sound glitches in chapters 6 and 7; Nothing major.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Wished for more..

This is a quick listen. We follow a young lady turning into a dragon. She meets a leader of an MC who is like her. He shows her how to be a dragon. This is short and I really felt there was some information missing. I just wanted more of her life and her parents. I just was left wondering..Then we have Blake. He is her childhood best friend who she wants to be more now that they are older.

I did listen to this on audio. The narrator did a good job. There were a few times the narration was repeated or skips.

Fear of Dragon's Fire

I really enjoyed this book. This is the first book in the Dragon Shifters Motorcycle Club series. It is a short Paranormal Romance about girl becoming a dragon. The FMC is torn between her first love and the first dragon shifter she met. I'm interested where there series might go. Jonathan Waters did a fantastic job narrating.
