About this listen

After the screen of a run-down drive-in movie theater collapses and kills four people, the daughter of one of the victims asks private investigator Cal Weaver to look into a recent break-in at her father's house. A very strong part of Barclay's novels is his strong characters - both believable and deep. Of course there is also usually a good plot, here not as good as some, but this is almost secondary to our interest in the characters who people his books

I love the promise falls series, getting to see the character development is so interesting. The amount of times you think you have figured out who and what has happened, you get thrown another curveball.
