Had to buy the first book before starting on this. full of light-hearted humour and witty comments. really enjoyed this book and it reminded me of the undead and unwed series.

First of all, this audiobook is the second in the series and is best enjoyed in order.

That said, this audiobook is well narrated and manages to strike just the right balance between rom-com and paranormal suspense featuring a stuffy old vampire and a brash, sarcastic newbie. Throw in an emotional bestie, a naked werewolf, and a whole lot of mischief for good measure, and the result is a fast-paced, quick listen that keeps the audience engaged from start to finish. Luckily, this is a multi-book series because I am ready for whatever is next!

Sarah Dearly is in trouble again. Her love life is on shaky ground, her apartment has gone up in smoke and some wants the slayer of slayers dead. This is a great listen Sarah is a her snarky best and George is George. I love this series.
