Summary
The day I lost my best friend was the day I realized that I'd been living in the past. I've tried to find a way to heal, to mend that break. Somehow, I came through it partially whole. But I know I couldn't have done that without Aiden Connolly.
The problem is, he once loved my best friend. And now she's gone, and I refuse to be in that shadow, or worse, a replacement for someone we both loved.
~
I left them all behind.
My brother.
My family.
My best friend.
And her.
Only Sienna Knight doesn't realize what she means to me. But before I can make sure she knows, I need to figure out exactly what that is.

Beautifully written
This one had such a small town vibe and I loved it. I loved how well the vibe was captured and the chemistry between the main characters. It also contained so much emotion absolutely beautifully written

Small town contemporary romance.
Small town contemporary romance set with a series. This story was sad and beautiful at the same time. The story telling was great and the words from Carrie Ann Ryan, a new to me author, really tugged at my heart. Both main characters were prickly a lot of the times but the chemistry and had shared history. Their fractured pieces seemed to fit together in an imperfectly perfect way.
The narration was great. I love both these narrators and definitely recommend this for lovers of small town contemporary romance.
