About this listen

Ruthless. Arrogant. Ice cold.

Everyone warned me that the CFO of McCord Media was a nightmare to work for. I knew it going in, but I figured I could keep my head down and stay under Cole McCord’s radar.

I figured wrong.

Because a month before I started as his assistant, Mr. Ruthless and I spent one scorching hot night together in bed.

In my defense, I had no idea that the gorgeous stranger I hooked up with at my girlfriend's birthday party would turn out to be my new boss. But company policy forbids work relationships, so it’s strictly business from now on.

If only we could stop falling into bed together.

If only he didn’t make me feel things I’ve never felt before.

If only he wasn’t keeping a secret that could destroy us both.

Author's note: Fall Into You is a standalone romance with dark themes and spicy bedroom scenes intended for mature listeners only.

The narrators are just so good. Dual narrative is so good. They flow so smoothly with eachother as I heard this was recorded live. More of this type of Audio please. Plus a good plot line, one that made me laugh cry and hmmm lol 🤣

Amazing Narration

I absolutely love this audio book, the story, the performances by all the narrators. Jacob Morgan was brilliant as Cole as was Angelina Rocca as Shay. Connor Crais’s English accent was exceptional and Troy Duran with the Irish accent… wow as always! Last but not least Vanessa Moyen as Chelsea was amazing ♥️
I’ve listened to this book theee times and I can say that I will definitely listen to it again and again

My favourite

This is the one I started the series with and probably my favourite. All can be listened to as standalones but I realised it worked better for me to listen to them in order. JT plays with the audience, slowly revealing things about the McCord family which link them to The Thirteen but also to the extracurricular activities of each of the McCord men.

For me it's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 for storyline and 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5 for hot, steamy, respectful but dangerous and delicious spice.

It's the book in the series which has the most explicit descriptions of physical threat aimed at the FMC. Neither of the other two go this far. It's the one with the most explicit physical violence, not between the MCs but against antagonists.

Assuming that it's Mr Morgan narrating Cole, he sounds so much more like Cole than Mr Duran did narrating Connor in the 1st book. He sounds the right age; clipped; thoughtful; deliberate; introverted; craving and passionate (in a highly repressed kind of way).

Cole is a darling! He’s undoubtedly morally grey but for all the right reasons. He’s the classic tortured soul; does the dirty work which few others would; an anonymous rescuer; so sure that he's so bad that no-one could ever love him because of the terrible things he’s involved in. He needs Shay to rescue him from his own internal conflicts. Shay (and other things) tears him apart and both of them put him back together again through their mutual stubbornness and determination.

Ms Rocca (using the same assumptions about who narrates each part) is an out-there woman; scared but braving it; always ready for what might happen next (until she isn't); sensitive to the needs of those round her (since she’s grounded, knowing where she comes from) and would look glorious clad in a hessian sack. She’s gorgeous - highly intelligent intellectually and psychologically; beautiful (though she doubts this); understanding and accepting of who and what Cole is and does way before he knows that she knows. She often cries when she comes and a lot of us get what that means.

Mr Crais should brush up on his English accent - Axel isn't a convincing Brit. If it's also him narrating Killian, he does a far better Irish accent narrating Finn in “Accidentally Kidnapping The Mafia Boss” - also available from Audible. Mr Morgan and Ms Moyen are outstanding as the eldest McCord and Chelsea respectively.

Who's falling into whom? Difficult to decide but my guess is that Cole falls first. You might disagree but happy listening nonetheless!

Smash it Shay and catch Cole!
