Summary

My college roommate is the worst. Cecile steals my food, brings guys over at all hours, and parties instead of studying. But those quirks pale in comparison to what she does next. She drugs me, and I wake up imprisoned in an alternate universe full of terrifying creatures. Now, the biggest and scariest creature of all - a fae king - believes I'm his mate. He's freed me from the dungeon but keeps me close. So close, in fact, that I'm beginning to like his wintery gaze and ice-chiseled body. But secrets and villains lurk throughout this new world, and I don't know if I'll survive long enough to figure out how to get back home.

Author's Note: Fae's Captive is the first book in a series that will set your imagination - and other parts of you - on fire. Mind the cliff, but book two is already out.

Too short

This book ends at the start of a journey and just as the main character is under attack. I can only imagine that the next book is of her survival of the wicked creature and is then going to discovery what is hidden and end before anything is found it ends.

3 hours and 8 minutes is not a book!

It took me a few hours to calm down before reviewing this. I am PISSED!

The story took right off, although, I could have lived without the first chapter, which felt rushed as if the author "had" to put something down and couldn't wait to get to the Fae world. Once we're in the Fae world, the story flew. It was engaging and action packed, and the moment the first...FIRST...rising action hit, the book...stops and we're told to go buy the rest of the book!

I am returning the book because it isn't finished! I will not be buying the remaining series. This is literally 25% of the book and I am pissed! I feel like the author is just out to make money. I feel taken advantage of and hurt.

IF I had gotten the whole book and IF the story and writing and continued like the first 3 hours, then I would have given a solid 5. It's like, if JK Rowling had ended the first Harry Potter book the moment Hagrid kicked down the door on that little stormy island! WTF!?

And...AND!!! 10 minutes of that 3 hours and 8 minutes was because one of the chapters was read TWICE and out of order! The poor editing was between Chapter 10, 11, 12 & 13!

Incomplete

Spoilers: This ends in a cliffhanger.
This book is well written and engaging. The narrators are excellent. But this is not a complete book. According to Amazon, this is book one out of four. Until it is a complete book, I will be returning this and I’ll wait and hope it becomes a COMPLETE book.

Interesting short story, good performance,

A lot of people complain about the length of this, yet you know the length before you buy it. it is too short, however the story is a good one.

Ummm.. What? I feel cheated.

Okay so, not bad at all. I was really into it and the n... Buy book two. So before I did I read the reviews.... Book two still another cliff hanger... And all and all for all 4 books at 7 bucks each.... 28 bucks?!?! Okay.. It's a good story but it isn't THAT GOOD. I can buy 2 black dagger brotherhood books for that much and they're complete!
I feel overall it's a sad milking of money for a so so story in comparison to some greats. Like breaking it up makes the cost more digestible?

Excellent story!

I checked this out because the series had been recommended in a podcast. Normally I don't read much PNR, but decided to give this series a try. Wow! I'm so glad I did. The author did a great job of keeping the story moving quickly and it kept me on my toes for sure! I loved learning about the characters and was immediately sucked into this story and I cannot wait to see what happens next. What made this even better was the performance of the narrators. That really clinched it for me. MacKenzie Cartwright was fantastic as Taylor. She has a great voice and was able to make me feel all of the emotions that Taylor was going through. This was my first narration by her and I can tell you it will not be my last. Shane East does such a great job at injecting emotion, charm and sexiness into every character he voices and Leander was no exception.

Leander & Taylor

This is the beginning of Fae's Captive four part series. How Taylor meets Leander and the adventures that follow.

Very happy with the Narrator and I can't but come back and revisit this over and over. <3

!!!! Please read!!!

This is one book broken into several it’s really annoying , because I feel like they did it just for money. I really like this story and I wish I could get passed how annoying it is that every time there is any pivotal point in the story the book ends! Surprise 5-10 dollar’s for the next couple chapters. So they’re are 7-8 books that should be one.

10.99 for a short story.

This cliffhanger is poorly written. It is only 2 hours long and leaves you needing to purchase the next book in order to find out what happens.
