Story
The bodies of a husband and wife are found in a patch of woods in small-town, rural Arkansas by a neighboring farmer. They were shot with an arrow, gutted, and left to bleed out. The killer also removed their eyes and replaced them with large cat’s-eye marbles. The murder method and signature are too bizarre to point toward an isolated incident, and FBI Special Agent Brandon Fisher recognizes this right away. His boss with the Behavioral Analysis Unit, Supervisory Special Agent Jack Harper, confirms that he’s crossed paths with this killer several years ago.

Worst of all, they’ve taken a dangerously personal interest in Levi and Dominic. Forced to trust each other, the two men race to discover the killer’s identity, revealing hidden truths along the way and sparking a bond neither man expected. Prolific and talented Blake Pierce does it again!!
The Zoe Prime series is such a fun series to listen to. This is the third book in the series. Each book can be listened to as a stand alone however I would suggest listening to book one first. Zoe is a very unique character with some interesting abilities. Face of Death is the first book and it details the scope of her abilities as well as her inability to adequately relate to other people. She’s often misunderstood or at least she thinks she is.
Ulka Mohanty does a great job narrating.
Very HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
