With one ring of the doorbell, one unexpected visitor, and one shocking revelation, Amelie Rossi’s whole world is torn apart.

Again.

Faced with no choice but to return to Knox Academy, she knows she has to go back to save the people she loves. But nothing can prepare her for the twisted welcome home awaiting her back in England. As Amelie tries to re-navigate her way around a school full of criminals hell bent on revenge, her confusing feelings for the four guys who destroyed her heart, and even more family drama, she must also figure out the mysteries of The Order of The Snaidhm to get to the bottom of the tangled web of lies and half truths being fed to her. Sick of being told what to do and who she must become, Amelie is faced with an important decision: will she fall in line to get the answers she so desperately craves, or tell everyone to f*ck off so that she can forge her own path?

I am still really enjoying my return visit to Knox Academy; Amelie has been kept in the dark for too long and the secrets are starting to come out! The Order are making moves but not everyone is thrilled with Amelie's participation. There are threats everywhere as Amelie faces up to her actions from the end of book one.

The Knox boys have some major grovelling to do and although Amelie has some of her own apologising to do, she definitely makes them work for it! The trip to Tesco was some great comic relief in amongst all the angst. Kalen is my new favourite Knox; I was previously a Sawyer girl when I read this but James Joseph has won me over to team Kalen. I love his golden retriever energy and I could just hear some of those pouts through my headphones! Baxter also has me swooning but I know that ship has sailed. I'd have loved him in the harem though despite Kalen's views!

I struggled a little with Smalls and the revelations relating to him; when you find out what Amelie took the fall for it made me see him in a different light. I know they aren't together but I think Smalls was just biding his time to let her down gently and I'm glad that's resolved. I was a little surprised at the lack of Aadi interactions though when the big reveal came out. There is another trip to Australia coming up and I think there may be a showdown coming! And I really hope Marcia's consequence hasnt been forgotten about. After that cliffhanger there are definitely some more pressing issues to deal with first but I need retribution for Elsie!

After a brutal cliffhanger, this book picks up right where we left off, and boy oh boy, the stakes are higher. Swayer, Slate, Onyx, and Kalen will bring the plot twists and give us a ride of our lives. You think there were lies in book one? Well, buckle up because this book came in swinging and was a fight to survive. Pretty sure on this one, I have to say this book finished me, before I even finished it. Baxter… I love that man. Can we be BFFs? I’m so impatiently waiting on book three already, give me give me!!! The post is so addictive, even pressing pause is hard!
Audiobook: Performed in multi-cast duet narration by Valerie Starre, Alex Bates, Elliott Matthews, James Joseph & Benjamin Crow. The voices have been cast perfectly for this book, and this series is fast becoming one of my favourite academia-why-chooses. The way each narrator complements the other makes you think they recorded it live; even the cadence of their duet delivery is spot on!

Impressive book 2, i need next immediately
