Everyone needs help occasionally - even supers with amazing powers - and Jim (aka Kid Sensation) is no exception. Having previously received aid from a young psychic named Rudi, Jim feels obligated to return to the favor and rescue her from the federal facility where she's being held.

But breaking into a top-secret, heavily-fortified government installation is never a walk in the park, especially when said installation has top-of-the-line security systems, trigger-happy guards, and its own team of formidable supers. It will take a bold and audacious plan to get Jim - and the friends who volunteer to help him - inside.

Unfortunately, breaking in is only half the problem (and the easy half, at that); they also have to break back out...

He's back and our favourite superhero is out to make good on his promises.
This one is far too short but it's what we have come to expect if more condensed into such a short story.
Narration as usual is great and my only complaint is the length but oh well.
I requested this audio and have left my thoughts on this.

Fast Paced like our Superhero

This is a great addition to the series and fills in the details on a side story that is alluded to, but not told, in the full length books.  It also provides a hint to a "secret" that isn't revealed fully until the fourth book.  If you love the Kid Sensation series, don't miss this one!

Great Short Stort!

I enjoyed this book and it was nice to find out what happen to Rudi and her brother but it was so short you can't help but wonder why it wasn't included in the book where we first met Rudi instead of being a separate book. The story was fun and I think Kevin had a good idea for introducing a new and significant character but wish he had gone into more detail and made the story longer. The action scene was almost over before it began but if you are a fan of Kevin Hardman's Kid Sensation books then you will enjoy it, especially if you have a short journey or a few hours to kill.

Fun but too short

A short story set between books 2 and 3. I was so happy to find out what happened to Rudy and her brother, it was kind of glossed over in the main book.
