What is even going on?

The first couple chapters were fine, but for an extended summary way too short. Skindeep. Commonplace..
Then something really terrible happens-a shouting, extremely irritating narrator dude comes on and suggestively starts saying half-throuths and god knows whatnot, since I had to rip off the headphones of my ears ...

I do not know if the reason why I think it has not given me anything is because the book itself contains nothing, but commonplace ideas or the summary itslef was not going deep enough.

As from the 8th Chapter, better not listen if you want to avoid a heart attack...

Why can't you guys just read the book? That is the whole point of an audiobook. I don't want to listen to a random rant. This was a bad idea.

Not the ‘tools of titans’

This is a summary, not the real book. Very disappointing. The 19 hours rambling at the end is offensive and poorly done.

Do not waste your credit/money

I was very much looking forward to this book, and I wish I had bought a hard back rather than audio book. This “version” of the book is more of a recording of a terrible broadway performance than a book, there was so much shouting and odd voice changes, why on earth do they not just read it as it’s meant to be. Such a shame because the book itself seems interesting but this was simply UNBEARABLE!

Good content but found one narrator annoying

Found the narrator knight rider to be very irratating, other narrators were good though, very frustrating to listen to him .

This is not 29 hours of Tim Ferris

The Tim Ferris section of the book is good and useful but after that you get this macho yank start piping up talking a load of nonsense. Not worth the money

I was dissapointed

I was dissapointed that Tim Ferris did not appear in his own audio book, the beast master was good though.
Th 30 days success plan got cut short.

This is awful!

Once the summary is over, the Beast Mode reading is just terrible. Perhaps this will benefit some but personally I find it annoying and aggressive.

Once again another great Tim Ferris book

Being a huge fan of the 4 hour work week I was really excited to listen to this one, I was pretty pleased with the listen. Although it was a bit pieced together, I found it really interesting

The first 1.5 hours is great but then it goes south.

Get the short version. The first 1.5 hours is great but then it turns into a radio show or something. Complete disappointment after the first 1.5 hours.

Misleading

Only about the first hour and half out of this book discusses Tim Ferris's "Tools of Titan" book. Right around the chapter 6 mark, this audiobook completely changes; even the narrator changes. Around this time it turns into what sounds like some late night pitch commercial where the guys voice and style of speaking sounds like he is trying to sell you a Shamwow. Seriously, it gets cheesy and I don't think people who follow Ferriss would have any interest in this kind of material.. Will be refunding this book asap.

Misleading title. Poorly articulated.

I thought this was an extended edition of Tools of Titans, with all content provided by Tim. In my opinion the delivery of the audio is annoying and almost comes across as condescending.

NOT a 20 Hr Summary of Titans, One Good

This is NOT a 21 hour summary of Titans. One good hour then you get 20 hours of some pop psych kid trying very hard to motivate you. Don't buy it.

Terrible narrator

Do not waste your money on this audio book. The narrator is terrible, he repeats himself so many times! I cannot believe he calls himself a motivational speaker, not only he repeats himself a lot but does not give real motivation like tony Robbins does, (he is one of my favorites).Night writer is a joke. The only good part of this audiobook are the first few minutes when he is not talking, (when successful people shared their tools of success).I have never provide a bad review here but this guy really deserves it.

What a terrible narrator.

Terrible terrible narrator. I just couldn’t listen further. He sounds like a childish surfer dude. Grow up Knight Writer, you suck. BTW the book speaks of “work your but off” which contradicts Tim Ferriss in hit 4 hour work week book...

Tools of titans is only a couple of hours

Be aware that the Tools of titans review is just a couple of hours and not the full 20 hours. The rest of the audiobook is other content crested by the authors.

Not a summary

There is a short review but it's quickly followed the "summarizers" quasi book which sounds more like a bad podcast
