About this listen

Technologically there's never been a better time to search for a new earth beyond our solar system.

Professor Danielle George examines exoplanets in the so-called habitable zone. Those that have liquid water. And maybe even life.

She wonders how we might be able to take the our first ever high resolution picture of an exoplanet using the microchips found in mobile phones. And she meets world-leading astrophysicists to ask if within our lifetimes humans might step foot on an earth-like planet.

Firstly, the audio quality and production were fantastic but the subject matter felt extremely "dumbed" down for the audience. It discussed exoplanet and the possibility of finding them but a lot of it were merely opinions I.e "yes, no, perhaps" etc. It told stuff, without really telling everything if that makes any sense. Worth listening to overall if you are interested in space and the idea of life beyond Earth.

Tepid.

It starts off good gets better and the last two episodes blew me away. Completely fascinating and without too much scientific terminology. The narration was excellent also.

Very enjoyable.

I really enjoyed this podcast. I've always had a bit of an interest in space and astronomy and this was pitched just right for me.

Fascinating and informative

Bearing in mind how we are rapidly destroying our own planet, the first question should be whether we should go in the first place?

Mind-boggling Concepts

Being a bit of a science geek I found this fascinating. The subjects covered were well explained which you would expect with so many professors involved. I learnt quite a few things along the way and it made me consider space and our whole existence here in a different way.
If you like astro physics or are a budding star gazer you will love this , as I did.

Very Interesting science and speculation

Truly a great listen. I am admittedly interested in all things spacey but no means addicted/obsessed. A very insightful listen to the earth like planets beyond our solar system and much more. Fascinated from the 1st chapter, i was which grew into more fascination and excitement by the end.

Very happy thanks

A Great Listen
