Feels quite rushed, especially at the end. I interpret it as set up for a new big storyline.

I remember Reich’s books being gripping but this story just lacks depth. It’s missing any real tension and I just couldn’t get into it. Shame.

I love Temperance Brennan and her adventures with Bones. However, I found this book dull. No interesting new characters and no character development for the main ones either - like Ryan. The story was tedious, with very little excitement - definitely one of the worst I’ve read.

very poor story line compared to the authors normal in-depth and gritty books. Lots of weak build up which just fizzled out into a dull ending that required explanation at the end.
