I enjoy Lucy and Henry’s story which started off well and kind of fizzled out a real shame. 5 stars for narration.

Quirky story with a feisty heroine. Loved this book and laughed out loud in parts. I don’t understand why this narrator ever gets less than perfect reviews. Her comic timing and accents both add enormously to the story. A new author to me but will look out for their other books. Recommend this as a gentle story to while away an afternoon.

I liked that the story line is different from most historical romances. I liked the main characters but the story is a bit unbelievable. I hated the narrator's inflection though. It took sometime to tune it out and concentrate on the story

I enjoyed the story, very different.
The timing, tempo of the story, was to perfection.
No waffling for hours dragging out a story unnecessarily which was a breath of fresh air..... Loved it start to finish👏👏👏
