Summary

Few men of God have had such an impact on the 20th century as Smith Wigglesworth. Born in Yorkshire, England, this simple plumber showed the world what faith in Christ can do; the dead were raised, cancers were removed, and demons were expelled through his mighty ministry. Contrary to the thoughts of many, what was available for this man is also available for us in our modern day.

This book contains the classic Ever Increasing Faith along with additional works of Wigglesworth, including In a Hard Place, How to be Transformed, and Flames of Fire. This audiobook has the potential of supercharging one's faith to believe God for the impossible. May you truly be blessed as you listen to this book!

Inspired Practical Biblical Message

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This inspired practical biblical message came from a lifetime of successful ministry. Smith Wigglesworth is totally authentic and unpretentious and his books are based on his putting the promises of scripture into practice. This is a challenging confrontation that if we love the father God as Jesus loved him, and make him our total reason for living, then we too can live and minister as Jesus lived, just as he promised. It is that simple... and that costly. I have read many books on healing and keep coming back to his (and Derek Prince's) as the most straightforward, biblical, practical and helpful.

What didn’t you like about William Crockett’s performance?

I did not like to give William Crocket a low grade as I am sure he is a very sincere and nice guy, it comes across in his voice. To me his reading voice does not sound natural, its as if he is trying too hard to make his speaking 'attractive'. I prefer a more natural way of speaking as if a friend is telling me about a great book he has just read. Perhaps WC is trying too hard to add extra emphasis and feeling and in that way it becomes a distraction. The reader should just be a vehicle to convey the message and not try to embellish it. This is all the more ironic in that Smith Wigglesworth was a working class uneducated gruff Yorkshire man who would have spoken in a very plain and blunt way with no attempt to have a 'beautiful' way of speaking. At first I could not listen to WC's voice without feeling some irritation but maybe I got more used to it or was it the grace of God, but eventually I was able to 'tune it out' and just focus on the amazing message. But later in a group bible study I was asked to read the scripture out loud and to my surprise I found myself reading using WC's style of reading, his 'sugary' inflections, and the people looked at me quizzically because it sounded so strange to them... so I coughed as if to clear my throat and continued in my normal speaking voice!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

strange question

The narration is not smooth

A great book, but very poor narration. I am very displeased with this narration. There are breaks that make it difficult to follow the narration.
