I felt I was on the journey with them, enjoying van life every step of the way, absorbing the different experiences as they traveled. A feel-good factor feeling. I would recommend this work.

An entertaining audible
It sounded weird having characters who are English talking about from how believable the characters felt.

Even better than the first audible about Rosie
This journey with these characters was like a balm for my heart. It was expertly executed, tying up loose ends from the previous novel. a sequel and needs to listen to the second. I’m now going to explore to see if there are more works with these characters.

Slightly disappointed
Maybe I just didn't like the style of listening used by the author...each chapter felt random with little link to the previous chapter. Even the opening chapter seemed odd.

Great audiobook
This audiobook gave me a great background on a part of history I never learned in school. And also the name of those great desserts, pastries de Belem that I ate while there! I would recommend this audiobook to a friend and look forward to putting this information to good use when we travel to Europe this Fall.

Listen to this audiobook
I listen to this audiobook before, during, and after my trip to Portugal. It covers the explorations of Portugal during the late fifteenth and early sixteenth centuries.

Really enjoyed learning
Considering the author is from Portugal himself, this is a must-listen for anyone looking to dive into the local culture. As a side note, the audiobook is simply presented with great graphics and easy flow. I also really enjoyed learning about the terrace views of the wonderful city! Check out #30 once you're on the inside.

Excellent audiobook
It’s not the usual run of the travel audiobook places to see, things to do. I found it most interesting since it’s explained from the view of a local citizen. I’ll have to update this review when I return this April.

A gripping history of Portugal's
A gripping history of Portugal's exploration and subjugation of the Indian subcontinent. The listener is struck by the courageous, but cruel acts of the Portuguese nobility, which rival those of Cortez and Pizza rolls in the Americas. We'll explain and often exciting.

Nice audiobook
I skimmed through this audiobook not getting much out of it. Then I spent two weeks in Portugal and realized how much I learned from this audiobook in terms of history but, more importantly, what the Portuguese people are all about. I immediately re-listen it when I returned and I could not put it down.

Great audiobok
My understanding and knowledge of Portugal are very limited to perhaps Vasco de Gama and not much more. This audiobook shows the considerable lengths that they went to reach India and what happened when they did. I found that I couldn't put this audiobook down and totally enthralling. I can't recommend it enough.
